Can You Restore Milky Headlights Yourself?

I thought I'd give it a go on my project Bug using basic tools and products and having never done it before. Lets see how I got on!

I had some success with Turtle Wax 2in1 Headlight cleaner/sealer. Think I bought the same drill pads you have there. They do a good job on ceramic hobs too ( with hob cleaner not Turtle wax)
