How To Recall An Email In Outlook 365 and Outlook Web Version

Video tutorial on how to recall an email in outlook 365/2019/2016 or the Outlook web version.
Note - I would not rely on this function completely as there are different constraints that might now allow you to recall an email in outlook.

Hey Eva, I work at MSFT in the Outlook Web Team and we don't have this feature in the web version but I will be soon, if you have any suggestions, experiences feel free to add them here.

@@fabperez217 please add this functionality asap. To be honest it's a headache not able to recall mails where smthing wrong has been sent. It's embarrasing to revrt with "pls ignore" or "apologies for the errors", 🙏

There's no recall option on the web but there's a delay function, delay of 10 seconds.

Hi Any possible to cancel or recall user email ,if the user application or corrupter and error appear ( not implemented ) , as er investigation microsoft have a option to recall through OWA ( web version )

How soon will you get the email that tells you that the recall was succesfull? Please answer i’m really anxious about this. I just recalled it about 50 minutes ago and still got no email back saying it was succesful. Does it come later?

It should be instant, but also depends what email address you are sending it to and from! Is it in a corporate environment!

@@jiffybd2475 If it's a corporate you can follow the same steps. In some corporate environments though, they have firewall rules/routing rules that might affect your results
