What a gift, this gentleman and his life's ministry. !!❤ Praise the Lord for all His goodness towards us, by having years of studies and teachings preserved this way for our continual benefit.
“And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen; Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest. And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples. And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out” Luke19:37-40
“I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.” Genesis 3:15
I find it perplexing that for years, Jacob's sons lied to him about the death of their brother and watched him mourn, and not once did they reveal the truth until the end. Jacob the conman got conned by his own sons, horrifically.
The trickster gets tricked, for the second time! The first time was when Laban tricked Jacob into marrying Leah instead of Rachel, the woman he loved and had his heart set on.
I love the Genesis series. So many good lessons. Also, could you guys restructure the RUclips channel to be based on what RC's hairstyle was at the time? That would be an interesting grouping.
Joseph was Rachel's son and Jacob loved Rachel the most. She was his original choice and he waited 7 years to marry her, but he was deceived by her Father into marrying the older sister Leah, and had to wait another 7 years to be allowed to marry Rachel. I suspect that is why Joseph was his favourite.
@@HearGodsWord Christ should have nothing to do with paganism. But when you stick a cone shaped tree in your house and tell your kids about Santa Claus, that’s exactly what you’re doing is mixing paganism and Christ. They don’t call it a Christ mass for nothing .
@@HearGodsWord According to the Catholic Encyclopedia, the word Christmas originates from the phrase “Cristes Maesse”, first recorded in 1038, which means the Mass of Christ or Christ's Mass.
@sonoftheredfox8921 yeah but you still need to be color coordinated. Especially when the focus needs to be on what you are saying, not what you're wearing. It's a total distraction from a great teaching. I'd rather have listened to it without the video. I can't unsee those loud pants. Lol
But didn't God sovereignly create us with free moral agency to have genuine fellowship with Him? I think Calvinists conflate God's sovereignty with absolute determinism?? God's foreknowledge of all events does not make Him the causal agent of all events (see Jeremiah 19:5 for one of many examples). Where in scripture is anyone irresistibly coerced to be saved?
@@HearGodsWord Matthew 19:22 & 23:37, John 5:40 & Acts 7:51. Who do you think Isaiah 1:18-20 is written to... volitional beings, or preprogrammed beings?
@@HearGodsWord As a Pastor in my 60s, God has given me the privilege of leading many out of Calvinism & into biblical soteriology. I often discover, I know Calvinism better than many Calvinists.
@@HearGodsWord The only place to turn to is God's divinely inspired Word...in context. God sent His Son to redeem any, all, everyone that will & CAN call upon Him for salvation per: John 1:12, John 6:40, Romans 5:18 & 10:11-13, Titus 2:12, Hebrews 2:9. You were born when you were born, where you were born to seek God (Acts 17:26-31). No one is prevented or forbidden from having their sins forgiven in scripture... but most of the planet is in Calvinism.
Remember, faith is not a reliable tool for discerning what is true from what is not true. If a person honestly, objectively cares about truth then they have no choice but to discard faith.
@@kimberleywalski6290 Please allow me to explain. A person can believe anything based on faith (And just to clarify I'm generally talking about faith in the religious context aka Hebrews 11:1, NOT just a synonym for confidence or trust). A person could believe tall people are superior to short people based on faith, or that they have a million dollars in their bank account based on faith...doesn't make it TRUE. That's because faith has no mechanism by which we can reliably get to truth. You cannot use faith as a tool and RELIABLY discern what is true from what is not. Thus, logically, if a person truly cares objectively about what is true then they MUST discard faith right from the outset.
@@kimberleywalski6290 This is entirely independent of a person's specific theology. It applies to faith in the religious sense, regardless of which belief system. R.C.’s pants are proof of human free will.
😂 nah that morning decision was just depraved.
The first thing I said to myself was "they had to go for the full body shot this time for the sake of those pants" 😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂
He must be wearing his golfing pants
Does anyone know if Dr. Sproul was color blind? Lol
God is sovereign - gosh love the way he brings it all together at the end. God works everything down to the smallest detail - all started with a coat!
Love the pants!

NO FULFILMENT- IT’S ALL ABOUT HIM

Thank you for sharing!
Thanks
Wow! RC is so young here with hip green trousers ; ) What year was this segment filmed?
And instead of a white board - a green chalkboard !!
Early 80’s and the kelly green w/ navy was very hip then!😉
