Valak’s Place in The Nun Movie Teased by Corin Hardy & Taissa Farmiga

- San Diego Comic Con 2018 just wrapped up this past weekend with a bunch of new footage and trailers, but we were also able to land some interviews with some actors and directors with projects coming out soon. One of those interviews were with Corin Hardy and Taissa Farmiga from the upcoming The Nun movie. Perri Nemiroff sat down with these two talented artists and they shared their thoughts on the frequency of finding new filmmakers on Internet platforms. Hardy discusses having creative freedom but making The Nun feel like it’s part of The Conjuring franchise. Farmiga shares her experience filming in Romania, and Hardy discusses making their shooting location even creepier for her.

Just saw it. Jump scares and slow on some spots but Taissa still dazzles on screen. Her beautiful and expressive eyes do a lot since she can do only so much as a nun. Trainee nun at that. I hope she'll be in the future Conjuring universe.

I went to go see the nun that came out on MY BIRTHDAY (also Ed warrens) and also my names Corina. Corin Hardy’s name is the male version of mine on a movie about a demon that came out on my birthday. Genuinely feared for my life. Lol

Conjuring 2 was hard to watch.Not because it was that scary or unsettling,because the characters had such unrealistic reactions and made me upset throughout the whole movie.exapmle: the kid walks towards the little tent when his toy got "thrown" back at him.and others just walking alone in the dark towards scary staff.scenes like that pulled me out all the time.anyone else?
You're more than welcome to your opinion. Not everyone goes under the sheets or runs away when frightened though so it's difficult to say they are "unrealistic reactions." Some people feel the need to know the unknown or that uncovering more about what scares them gives them the power.
Mr E Might've not been the best example to my point.What I was trying to say is that compared to Wans first,this one was focusing on the set pieces a lot more to get the jumps.An other example would be hanging Ed's lovely painting of the Nun even after discussing with his wife what that meant... Just so you have a cool shadow walking behind the picture to be alligned with it.There are many more.Visually,acting wise the movie was fantastic and still better then most out there in the genre.I had a similar feel after watching the IT remake.

@@sazerick1713 i really like conjuring 2 because of its great characters and an interesting story, but i was very disappointed story and character-wise the nun is var inferior. lots of lazy storytelling, messy plot, and a felt very rushed especially toward the ending
