Btw: How thick are your picks? I find it quite hard to play fast songs like NOFX stuff with anything above .5mm, but with thin picks the sound is lacking. The struggle, the struggle. .. :/

My bass picks are 1,5mm and guitar 1mm. I've heard NOFX picks are all 1mm but thats too thin for my bass playing.
