I've currently got a residential mortgage in principle with the intention of listing the property on airBnB etc, but I've been put off by the need to gain the consent to let, this normally takes 6 months minimum. I've spent some time trying to go down the rental route instead but every Landlord I speak to seems to be against the idea! Any tips at all on who/what to look for?
