I'm in a nursing program and can't wait to be taking the NCLEX... I'm also a parent of a child that spent 11 days in the picu and we were terrified he wasn't going to come home with us. The nurses on that floor did an amazing job of explaining what was happening and what the plan was and we were even encouraged to sit in on the morning rounds for his team. The picu will always have a special place in my heart because of that time we spent in the hospital
I got ALL of the questions. I left KNOWING I failed and still passed. Mark K is the GOAT! Nursing school teaches you how to pass NCLEX... working in the field teaches you how to be a nurse! Good luck nurses.
19:44 well, I've been working as a pca for 10 years in a postpartum unit and believe me that with the time you get used to these things. Its like you become an automatic human being. I do feel emotional when a child passes away or you know a mom that lost her baby.
i didnt study for a month, listened to mark for 3 days prior and passed. ( I also listened to mark in school for help so please take it with a grain of salt.) i took it in 88 question in january 2024 and am coming up on my first full year of working as a nurse february 5th. I was 3 questions deep and thought i failed. I literally resided to retaking it by question 3. But when you get nervous TAKE AS MANY BREAKS AS YOU NEED. believe me it helps.

Some things can be a bit frustrating since they’re constantly changing, but if you’re looking for a school that truly supports you through nursing, Chamberlain does a great job. Once you adjust to the changes, I think you’ll enjoy the experience. Plus, as a nurse, adapting to change is part of the job, so it’s good preparation for handling the unexpected!"
I’m graduating my surgical tech program this May and starting nursing in the Fall and I’m so nervous! Thanks for the video! Also, I loooove my Clove shoes when I’m at the hospital. I love my Hokas as well except for the fact that they are cloth and not wipeable. I love the cloves because of comfort of course but also because if blood or anything else gets on them I can wipe them.
Highly recommend the book ~ Lead me where the light is ours for all girls ~The book is only on line ~ N. GALILEA is the author but it is so thought provoking ~ Shows important points from a christian lens.
Thank you for sharing! I’m in nursing school and want to start applying for extern positions. Do you have any advice or template examples for resumes? If I have zero healthcare experience would I include my old jobs even though they’re not healthcare related?
New grad depression is so fr 🥺 refreshing to hear the truth but you’re sooo cute !! Wishing you a successful career ❤️❤️
