I'm sorry to say but it feels like Joe's starting to degrade and his age starts to do it's thing. He doesn't play with the same intensity and precision anymore.
I don’t hear that at all. His tone is better and he is more fluid. He doesn’t go all out as much but I think that’s just more of a psychological thing not physical.
I would have to agree, seen him live prob 8 times and he is very subdued and playing it safe here with stock licks. He’s brilliant and a genius and alot of respect for being 66 years old out on world tours. But Joe is always a legend.

I saw him two days ago in the Netherlands. He missed some notes, like the bending on 2:04 but he can correct it like it should be pkayed like that.

Always the same legato licks....yawn. The solo on the record is one of his best but this one doesn't have any structure at all.
