If you ever have the chance, chop up apricots and if they have them, pecans. Put on your Brie before wrapping in pastry and baking. It is simply to die for. I cannot wait for more of your vlogs whether they are stateside sharing the sorting, packing, and moving process, en route to France, or in France. I hope you have been able to submit your visa application or will be able to soon and that it is successful and processed quickly! It seems that many of the chateau owner are British and I am excited to see people from my country purchasing a French chateau to live and work in.

Your home all decorated for the party looked absolutely amazing, the party atmosphere you could feel right over here in my country of New Zealand, a huge congratulations on your 30th, and just think your next birthday will be in France so very exciting, congratulation`s once again.
Unless you're going leave your cat in California, make sure you find out what you need to do in order to move your animal(s) with you when the time comes. Not sure about France, but I DO know that many countries require your pets to be quarantined for a certain amount of time before you can take them home and live with you in another country. Hopefully, you'll arrange this so that it will go smoothly and the separation won't be too hard on your pets. I don't think you realize what you are taking on. (Stephanie tends to make things look much easier than it really is at times...and she seems to take bad news, when things fall apart, dealing with long waits for parts and pieces to be delivered, and what sometimes seem like an overwhelming amount of things that constantly need dealing with.) It's going to take a lot of money and a ton of work, and organization skills along with a clear mind and your feet firmly planted on the ground. This isn't going to be a "Disney Movie"....this is real. Are you and your family shipping most of your belongings and furniture to the Chateau, or are you going to sell everything where you are now, and buy new antiques, etc. for the new place. (Are some pieces in the rooms staying?) Wishing you the best.

depends on the country, generally not for France. You have to do a health certification with your vet, then plan with the airline to either travel in cabin or in animal cargo to your destination. I have moved to Africa and back with three cats, very possible but not inexpensive.
