I don’t mind having the Seed repeat. ( the repeats never seem EXACT anyway) but a brown is a brown- and if it’s a good one- and it goes w the color story🤷🏻♀️. I mean I love mini gold but if all 5 colors were from the larger palette I’d be just as happy. Not everyone has the bigger palettes the dupes come from- probably most ppl

Her mini palettes are pretty much mini versions of her larger size palettes, even if she does not outright and say it. Coral was basically a mini Sunrise.
Natasha Denona said in her stories when she was launching it that the dark brown in the glam mini was seed from the biba palette
I swatches those without even real ion they had the same name but i said they looked the same
Mel Thompson Yes, Seed is from Biba, and the first shade, Golden Flesh, is from the Green-Brown 28.
The mini glam palette is in my Sephora cart, but I wasn't sure if it looked good on darker skin tones, so it's just there. Thank you for your review!! :)

Bron 123 I know I wasn’t going to wait for the Natasha Denona Metropolis Palette so I ended up buying it from the USA and glad I did it took Australia about 2 months to get it. Yet they already have the fenty palettes and they are 2 for $70. Hope you have an amazing New Years 🎉

I fell in love with this immediately! I have no idea why I’m being drawn to more neutral tones lately. I love the mini nude (I just played with that last night). That second shade looks questionable but it may show up darker than we think. I could also use it as just something to set my primer. Look at how pretty this eye look with your green sweater. These shades also remind me of Sydney Grace’s Military Collection.
Thank you, Mel! Your look is beautiful as always❣️ This is the first ND that I’m skipping in a long time. I already have 2/5 shades: Golden Flesh (Green-Brown 28) and Seed (Biba). I wish she (and Charlotte Tilbury) wouldn’t put out palettes with more than one repeat shade.

As a cool toned, fair skinned person I really like this palette. When it arrived I immediately thought it looked a lot like the Mini Gold, but it is different enough for me to keep. Thanks for making all these review videos. I hope you can get some rest and get your voice and health back.
I just missed getting this with 20% off at Sephora! Oh well I can wait until the next Rouge sale...I must be one of the few people in the universe who has always preferred cool toned neutrals, so this palette is perfect for me.

This is my first mini ND purchase. I seen it was a cool tone palette and I was all about it. Lol. Great look!!
This is not a cool toned palette but many brands seem to think anything that isn't a burnt orange, red or yellow is cool toned. Annoying for those of us that don't wear warm tones at all

Mine just arrived today in the uk and I only ordered it on 26th. I’m impressed with that service from ND! It looks stunning and I can’t wait to wear it.
I also have the mini nude and the mini star palettes. I love these! I wanted to splurge on the Biba, but I would never use all the colours in it. Happy and content with the mini’s xx
The color story is meh to me. I wonder how it swatches on darker skin.
It's dull but good for funky everyday wear if it suits your skin.
I guess Alicia (Kinkysweat) probably will get this palette as well, LOL. You may go check her channel later.
Natasha did looks on dark skinned ladies on her Instagram, they looked stunning with the Glam mini!
I love the color story but I too wonder how it translates on darker skin. The YT channel that always displayed higher end makeup looks on deep brown skin hasn’t posted in a while. I’ll check back in once I find someone on YT (Ashley Crutchfield) or IG showing it on much deeper skin.
Jamie Sun there are many different shades of deeper skin tones. I can’t wait to see kinky’s video but I really want to see it on a darker brown skin.
I do enjoy that Rimmel liner. This palette might make me try ND for the first time.

I’m so confused- it was advertised as being the cool companion to the warm Mini Nude.. at LEAST 2 colors are very warm. It’s a good addition to mini golf & Nude- like a whole mini 15 pan lol- but I love her cooler shimmers. I would only swap out the lighter shimmer for a more icy, cool toned beige
To me, the they all look neutral or cool. But it’s open to interpretation ❤️
I agree this to me is not a cool toned palette as most of the shades are warm or goldy. It’s less warm than mini nude but I was disappointed in the colors. It is a beautiful color story but I wish they would come out with a true cool toned palette.

Maybe in all of the billion ND colors what I m looking for exists, but going Bk to Lila, Biba, these minis- even the ‘Nude’ in the Cranberry palette ( which for a sec I thought was IT) there’s no light/champagne color that doesn’t have at least a bit of orange or gold or some warmth to it!!

.. Love the nude mini.. Keep it simple making a nice AMU and less pricy...I'm definitely overwhelmed by using big palettes.. it's only for collectors or Makeup geeks..great Job... Thank you spending your time and money...

@Mel Thompsom Today is May 17, 2020, and I just found this review since I loved this palette. I am wondering if you would be so kind as to provide a little guidance for me regarding another ND purchase considering what I am picking up and what I already own. What I already own; Safari, Biba, Sunset (re-release), Lila, Mini-Gold, Mini-Nude, Mini-Lila, Mini-Star, Mini-Sunset, a five pan (not sure of the #), picking up the Tropic on clearance and Mini-Glam, based on the ND palettes in my collection, would you pick up the Camel palette? For reference, I am light-medium/neutral, bronde with highlights and lowlights, blue eyes (will pull grey or green depending on what my hair color is and what I am wearing - clothes and eye look). I have no idea what my Mac shade is, but wear Chanel CC cream in 20 Beige and YSL Touche Eclat Radiance Awakening Foundation in B40. I loved the colors in the palette and swatches but wanted to see it in action and hear your thoughts before I purchased it, (who better to see put it to the test but you)! I have this in my bag at Sephora right now and I think I am going to finally pick up the Tropic palette for $64.50 (not willing to pay full price for it), I am ready to check out and I was eyeing the Camel palette and wondering if I should pick it up considering the other palettes from ND I own. I am also on the fence with the Sydney Grace palette (still cannot decide on light or dark) and need help there too. I did not know about her until I saw your video on the new release and have wanted it and cannot decide and do not need both just because of the tonal differences in the mattes. I trust your judgment and ready to place both orders, I just cannot tell which SG Enduring Love to get and if I should both with Camel from ND. Help please.

I bought this mini the day it launched and I am in no way disappointed! It's so good! It's great to see such a wearable cool toned palette.
The only ND shadows I have are the mini Gold and the mini Lila (got that one for $12.50 USD from Sephora)... the shadows are terrific quality and I feel posh using them, lol. I thought for sure the mini Gold was going to be very similar to this new mini Glam, however when you held them up side by side, I was not correct! Great video and I appreciated the comparisons!

I’m a new subscriber (and still learning application techniques). Do you have a full length eye shadow video? The way you edit, I can’t tell if you are reloading your brush or just buffing the shadow around (and you don’t really mention it either). Any videos you (or anyone reading this) can suggest?

This palette is def calling my name cuz it is the colors I use 99.99% of the time that I do my makeup. I might wait and use what I have 😬 but it sure would be perfect for me esp when traveling! Lol

I just bought that little pallet and I’m waiting for it to be delivered. I have come to the realization that small/mini pallets are the best for me. I get overwhelmed with anything more that about 9 shades. Even the 12 shade pallets can sometimes make me cringe a little, because I usually use the same 4 or 5 shades every time I pick it up.
It looks great on you, but all the colors looks great on you. Its a really green effect through the computer wondering if its because of your top or if there is a definite green hue to it?. Lovely Mel, I would love you to do a demo on hooded older eyes you are so talented that I believe you could really make an older person who is afraid of eye colors really make it pop. It is really nice. I have to ask whether this is a necessary purchase if you have a lot of ND palettes. Not that any makeup is necessary but you know what I mean. I find it hard to not buy ND though!!

Does anyone else find that these mini pallets wear time is not very long, even with primers?? I can only get these shadows to last a few hours and they wear off.

I bought this immediatly! I did swatches and comparisons of this with the mini nude. I honestly liked the mini glam more than I expected.
2/5 shades are very similar side to side between the mini glam and mini nude but I'm still glad to have both actually

@@karrinadusablon9738 I am happy to have both, but I think that the main difference of the mini glam is the middle olive/cargo shade and transition. Both have a light shimmer, a mid tone bronze shimmer, and a dark brown, with a transition shade with one being more warm and one being more khaki. I did like the vibe of the glam in addition to the nude which is why I bought it
