I think leavers and throwers are more prominent in low Elo than Smurfs because we don't really have a way to tell if someone's smurfing but also that in iron and bronze when I play there is a least one game where I will get someone who's just afk or left midgame on either team and it makes the game unwinnable. I had one game in the past two days where we were up 12-2 and our Renya just started throwing guns off the map and not helping the team at all. they came back 13-11 and honestly we just got lucky that last round even if the other team is bad having someone leave or throw is detrimental.
i have the same experience as you!! still to this day have not had a game without someone leaving and it's sad. smurfing i rarely experience personally but in my last video a LOT of people said they dealt with it often
You have a good understanding of the smurfing issue, although most people need to realize that not everyone nesceccarily cares about the competitive integrity of ranked matches. I play with my irl friends in silver because I enjoy playing with them, compared to my main account in immortal where everyone is toxic and has an ego. Furthermore I do not feel like putting myself through the pain of getting back to immortal every act, as I have like 4+ I’m buddies and there is no point. I can’t say for all smurfs but I generally make it fair by going knife only on omen while I’m smurfing. It makes the game fun and it makes the experience more enjoyable in general.
when i hop onto my low elo account to play with my bronze friends i donot try hard but i intentionally donot throw the game , its just that i play new roles which i dont play on my original rank and dont take duels properly like i would have taken it in my real rank
I completely agree with your perspective on the first comment and I admire how you can move past the slight hostility in the comment and just address the opinion.
heyoo, i am a asc 2 player so i probably dont realy know what im talking about when it comes to smurfing. I get a smurf in every of my games, but thats fine since most of them are alt acc so they dont realy bother me. But when it comes to smurfing to play with your friends i dont understand why its necessary to play comp? Like why not just play unranked? I frankly do not understand that, but maybe you can explain as a person with experience on the topic. I play alot with my lower ranked friends and dont see a problem in queing a tdm or swiftplay or unranked, but let me know
Just being honest, as someone who is 26 and played mostly FPS for my entire life and got ascendent in less than 200 matches; every single rank is the same until you hit the top 5%. Until you hit ascendent 3 or up they're all the same but exagerated. You can easily find someone who has really good aim at gold/silver/plat but their gamesense in non-existent, so they won't climb because of their stupidness or lack of knowledge. But you can also find people with "bad aim" in immortal but they dictate the game so well that at the end of the match you think like "how is this dude not radiant". it's the same thing in every shooter out here. I played 60 matches in silver/gold getting pissed for NO reason. The moment I started to look at myself and actually see how bad I was playing I went from silver 3 to gold 3 in 20 games and from there to diamond 3 in 40. If you play solo just focus on yourself, hell, even if you have a stack, the maximum you can do for them is being cohesive and explain what you are doing, why and why its works.
honestly i dont think many people use the lfg servers. usually people will ping and ask but it doesn't get much traction. the servers (from my experience) get inactive after a couple weeks, and im hoping that everyone just found a good stack to queue with. it's a nice idea but i don't think they work out
i technically smurf, my main is plat 2 rn and i have one alt at gold 2 and second at gold 3, but i only play with friends and i switch accounts depending on what skins i want. and i would really like to have all my accounts at one elo but i have more skins on my main and dont play on the other accounts often enough to rank up
i agree with the comment, if youre in low elo youre just bad at that point. getting out of low elo is really easy, even if you solo queue. smurfs and other nuisances wont have much effect on this as they only occur for a few games. if youre in iron youre just bad, bronze-gold is all one rank so maybe youre hardstuck, and after that isnt low elo. i think people just need to try harder and get better at the game before complaining about teammates and how youre hard stuck in low elo
smurfing is bad no matter what reason the player has for doing so. u dont understand how much it affects us low elo players mentally. it makes us hate the game and ourselves. if u really want to smurf then dont ply ranked ply unrated
ok piece of advice from someone with a 1.4kd in asc everyone in this game minus the top 1% is horrible as far as mechs go look up someone from the aim community like GREED-EU or someone like FURIOUSSS who plays cs and is hella good and i recommend his videos on crosshair placement and his robot aim routine. the improved demon 1 routine on aimlabs is also good for that if you prefer aimlabs to range. you will shit on smurfs with this btw if you put in the work plus rank up. also stop blaming teammates for losses period no one plays perfect including myself you only hurt yourself by blaming others. i wrote an essay on youtube very cringe i know just like helping others
I'm ass and I realize that Can you tell me what may the the fact that sometimes I completely pop off, other time I can't even strafe properly like something's off, I'm low ELO wanting to improve,
@@aspas234 ruclips.net/video/nm_n2lvHbsM/видео.html it's a vid by woohoojin on movement. fyi bad games will happen if you hs is below 20% you need to work on crosshair placement and aiming for the head. Also relax your grip on your mouse try not to tense up when you aim. sometimes you will have a bad game but you will have less bad games if you warm up first. also try and simplify the game when you play it watch curry play your role in his (insert the role you play) to rad. and it takes time man even i learn something every day im fortunate to have a friend who has hit rad to help me occasionally but even i go back to the absolute basics and relearn from someone like woohojin so go check out the goated banana man
unrated lets you play with friends despite the rank difference playing in an alt account with friends in lower elo not only would be smurfing but also boosting!, i dont think there is an acceptable excuse to smurf in valorant
like i said i am bias BUT i do see what youre saying! i personally love unrated because i can play with my friends of all elos, however some people don't like unrated because they feel you play a whole game with "no reward"

I don't play Valorant much these days but I still think it's fun. tho I like listening to stuff like this. Great video!
pls keep making videos! :)
can you just like tell stories and have valorant in the backround. you are fun to listen to.

What are your thoughts on lfg/lft discord servers? Do you think they help climb ranks or are they just about the same as solo queue?

Honestly unrated is not the same as ranked tho. People play the game differently, and as a whole it’s not as fun for that reason imo
