I just got one of these from a walmart today by suprise and this video was super informative and straight to the point! perfect :) thank you so much for the help.
Im in tears and I love my plants . I'm a beginner and obviously I suck! I got the best draining soil ,terra Cotta pots ,a water schedule and my little fella was doing just fine and now he's dying! The bottom leaves are dying. So naturally I take him down look at the root system and it looked fine ,had new roots and all and now this..He has a really hard shell and within a couple days his bottom shell is soft! I hate to take him out of his pot again bc of shock. But I'm scared of him dying. Should I just cut that leaf off? Problem is he isn't the only snake plant that happens to be suffering since I repotted them. Did I pack them too tight possibly? I have cacti soil potting mix. Is it my house ? Is it me? Should I take all the healthy leaves off? I don't want any part of any of my plants to die! I feel absolutely horrible at this point and I feel so stupid for bringing these beautiful healthy plants to my home just for them to die...If u have any helpful tips ..Also I also got a golden bird's nest that also rotted . I think I had it too deep in the soil though. I do think I know what I did wrong there.:( It wouldn't stand on its own. I should've used rocks( which now I have ) It had a pup . I pulled it and cleaned it off from any rot and I hope it makes it.. Also does peroxide really keep future rot away? Or is that hurting? Please help ..
It has some kind of graphic beauty. I would like to have one and do some charcoal drawings of it. _(Confession, I'm an artist AND a garden / house plant freak.)_
Beautiful snakes. Your air plant is lovely as well. Have a blessed day.

I just picked up this samurai snake plant today. Thanks for the tips.
I’m a fairly new plant mom. What are some things to look out for that might mean it’s dying?

7.756.935 I completely agree. I think it’s the angles along with the white striping on the top of the leaves contrasted against those dark green hues!
