  • 3 MASSIVE Bushmaster Species: 1 of them is 20+ lb MONSTER BLACK-HEADED BUSHMASTER, Lachesis melanocephala plus Central American Bushmaster Lachesis stenophrys and the South American Bushmaster Lachesis muta muta. And it wouldn't be a VenomCentral video without| Fangs in Your Face Venomcam Strikes... Hey #VenomSquadFamily, check out the 3 Bushmaster snake species we currently work with here ‪@VenomCentral‬ as I get my monthly weights on the MONSTERS from the jungle... ONE IS a 20+ LB MASSIVE Bushmaster Species, the BLACK-HEADED BUSHMASTER, and he TIPS the scale to error, so we know he must be over 20 lbs... it's amazing to this python sized pit viper, and know they are elusive and deep in forests and montane jungles of Central and south America, but I bring out the BIGGEST of EACH SPECIES and they are ALL over 8 ft in length! Then WAIT TIL THE END for 5 fierce Fangs in Your Face Venomcam Strikes and SLO-MO feeding strikes - ALL BUSHMASTERS! • @chefmesser420
      @chefmesser420 4 года назад +3

      Tyler nolan and chandler do it as smart as free handling can be done. David's feed and chrisweet maybe not so much but they know their shit.

      I was so glad to see your comment.
      I have owned a few before, and the "Media influencers/experts" that do the complete free hand are part of the problem when people think "They are not that bad I'll buy one" and get into this and get hurt, or hurt the animal, and cause issues for us that actually know what we are doing, and really love what we do.

    • @patrickmollohan3082
      @patrickmollohan3082 3 года назад +1

      @@chefmesser420
      But Free Handling has nothing smart about it! It just calms the snake down so its nice and relaxed...when it strikes and tunes up your ass!!

    • @chefmesser420
      @chefmesser420 3 года назад +3

      @@patrickmollohan3082 I agree but large snakes sometimes require freehand it's hard as fuck to hold a huge snake that is 10ft + with one hand and a hook. Thats all I was referring to. Free handling to show off is just dumb and I think Tyler learned this the hard way.

    • @saturniidmoff
      @saturniidmoff 11 месяцев назад

      @@chefmesser420I wouldn’t support David and Chris in their handling as something they should do. But they know how to do it. You gotta give it to them. David’s never been bit (to my knowledge) and Chris hasn’t been bit from freehandling. (He was bit for different reasons, watch his video on it)
      They definitely know enough, and they handle so much they can do crazy things with their snakes. Because of how used to them they are. Just holding king cobras like it’s a milk snake and not even watching it while they are moving it.

    Love the way those bushmasters strike! They all seem to get the high ground and come down on the rat. None of the snakes I ever had did that. (except cobras of course) Mostly I had puffadders and rinkhals for poisonous snakes. They were plenty where I grew up in the high veld of South Africa. Love your channel, and your knowledge.

      @VenomCentral I had a run with a a rattler a couple years back specifically that to this day sends chills up my spine to put it short an sweet (180 from this critter) I spent well over 90 seconds dancing an shoving it away from me as I was In pure survival mode an im certian it wanted to eat me. The snake was everybit of 3-4 inch in diameter an just shy of 7 ft with 13 rattler.. I'm thinking possibly even pregnant an that way it was so hostile but have no idea with that said I also laid down with in 6 Inches of a great basin rattler and he had no care I was there might even snuggled up with me had I let it.... :/ amazing creature I have lots.of respect for ant any rate. :/ :)

      @@VenomCentral thank u. Didnt knew about the other two lachesis species !...and the correct translation for the slang name we know the lachesis mutra. Its the mute rattle snake; not the silent.
      In the peruvian Amazon they called la shushupe and in Brasil surucucu pico de jaca! :)

    I watched a vid where a guy brought a Puff Adder to show kids. He was as big as one of your largest. Anyway he takes this snake and puts him on the grass. There was no barrier. The snake locked on to a small dog one of the parents had and he started moving toward the dog. The guy was telling the kids what the snake was doing, he waited till the snake was about 10 feet away before he jokingly said the kids and dog were to much temptation for the snake. He retrieved him and put him in his crate. I have no idea how fast a Puff Adder can move. This one was slow but determined. I hate to think what might have happened if a kid broke loose in striking range or the dog had got loose and tried to protect a kid. You would know better on hunting behavior, but I have always thought the handler was irresponsible and only looking for praise because he had this snake. Its been easily 10 years or more when I saw the vid. But again I think he needlessly endangered those kids and dog.
