I remember listening to this song while driving out to the East Coast of Canada to live by the ocean. I needed to get away from my city life and urban bubble. I now wake up to the ocean and I smile whenever I hear this song.
this song got deleted off my youtube playlist almost 2 years ago and i was soo upset bc i didn’t know the name of it. i ran into an instagram post yesterday w this song playing in the background and i’m so happy i found it after so long! it brings so much nostalgia
When I listen to this song, I imagine myself in the backseat of a car with Mum and Dad as we drive on an empty road surrounded by nature in all her glory. It continues for miles and miles, as far as the eye can see. To my left and right there are emerald green forests and tall trees overhanging the asphalt. Overhead, whiskers of sunlight fight their way through the thick branching foliage. I hang my hand out the window and do the worm in tune to this song all while the cool wind is brushing against my face and hair. Continuing and enduring we finally drive out into the open and into the sunset as it gleams and dances in the rose red sky. Like the sands through an hourglass, these were the days of our lives. ~ I hope someone else reads this and can appreciate the beauty that is all around us. It's in the people we see, it's in the music that we hear, and it's in the relationships we make along the way. Enjoy it 'cause you never know when it's going to end ~
Headphones in This song on repeat Just lay on your bed arms and legs spread Eyes closed and let your imagination get the better of you The feeling is absolutely divine
Started my day off right w/this song in the background with a fresh warm cup of coffee with the cold morning wind and sun glaring on me with my dog beside me on my lawn at my house up in the mountains. No better feeling.
This song, this exact video in fact, was my first introduction to Tom's music. I was in college then, barely 18 years old and I was about to head to University far away from home. Every step of my life from that point on I've listened to his music. Every new track he released, every EP, album, feature, I've had his music on my playlist. My family love his music, my wife loves his music, and all my mates love his music too. Tom's music has carried me through every important moment of my life, and for me, it all started with this one video. I'm so glad I can come back to it 10 years later and fondly remember key moments of my life that his music got me through. Guess you could call it The Journey!
This song makes me think of three things off the top of my head 1. That moment at the end of an episode where everyone involved in the episode is gathered at the city limits to thank the protagonist and his crew before they go on their way. 2. That one mid-game area after the really fucked up shit happens that's really chill and perpetually twilight to help take some of the edge off of everything you just did and let you catch your breath, oftentimes acting as either a hub world or as a junction point to multiple parts of the world map. 3. Just....like.....that 7:00 P.M. winding down vibe you get at the end of a long day. Where you're sitting in the car on your way home and you turn around that corner and everything is bathed in orange and red and you just....let out a sigh of relief because you can just feel the world around you slowing down for the night. -I'll probably get flak for writing all that when I should have been enjoying the music.-
Not really. That's how I always type and talk. People always think I'm trying to show off or pretend to be some intellectual jerkoff when I just know how to type and articulate my thoughts...
I remember this being the first Tom misch song I ever heard and listening to it from time to time, I got to say, it has been quite a journey listening to this man
I went to Crete last year and one morning we sat on the rocky pier, feet dangling over the water, and watched the sun rise whilst playing this. Most peaceful, beautiful memory ever.
Still listening this over and over. It's one of my favourite songs. Actually it´s one of three songs I need in my iphone (and all of them from Tom Misch). So calm and chill ❤️
I fell In love with his beautiful music my son introduced me to his music it's not only soothing and takes me away to another world BIGUPS to him keep on inspiring people with your music love ya!!
I’ve spent nearly half my lifetime with Majestic Casual, able to go back in time, with each track that I fell in love with, looking at the date and year of release, it’s like WOW it’s been 10 years of Majestic! 2011, I was 14 now I’m 24 going on 25, may the Journey continue! Thank you 🙏
I remember when i listened to this song. Going through a break up and for the first time i knew/realized i would be just fine... But what it does make me think of is having friends over, sunset, out by the patio/garden area and reminiscing on good old days
This truly is a talent that he possesses to create such smooth and killer music. Can't stop listening. People around me think I'm crazy jammin this hard haha :p
Substitute teacher was playing instrumental music in my Spanish class and I was so bummed bc I couldn't find the song afterwards. The next day she was there again and I overheard her talking to one of the students saying all she did was type in instrumental hip hop. I did that and it was the first song to pop up. The universe loves me. 💓💓💓💓💓
Here in 2022, if anyone else shows up lmk, love this song, I think it's what introduced me to this channel. A lot has changed in my life since then, I've lost nearly all my friends, friends have passed, family too. But I guess that's the journey
Thank you so much for all of your music, Tom. I am just now beginning to discover your work and I love every piece I hear from you. You are truly gifted, my man. Best of luck to you in everything you do.

Tom Misch never disappoints... everyone should check out the rest of his work, probably the best Dj I've found on the Majestic Channel...
