The elevator isn't only the fastest, but the smoothest lift ride I have ever had. You don't even feel like you are moving. I assume they didn't make it a lift with an outside view to avoid getting people dizzy. It's only when you go back down that you feel anything, and then something very slight, a small change of pressure in your ears. Probably the best elevators in the planet.

The One WTC elevator is like that but it shakes a bit due to the air from the bottom shooting up the shaft to the top to maintain pressure at altitude (thanks to people not using the revolving doors).
That observatory should have been placed higher in the tower. At 3:36 you can see there is still a huge section of the building above the floor your on.
They had 1.5 billion dollars they could have used to plant trees and they choose to build the World's Tallest Building. Trees are more impressive and far more important to Life on your planet, but until you breathe your last breath on this planet you won't understand the importance of that.

The Burj Khalifa's multi-tiered design would make it impossible to construct an elevator with an outside view anyway.
I done both cntower and this one , I was filming the floor counter all the way up , and thought the same how smooth it was.
