- Here's an unboxing of Disney's The Sword in the Stone on Blu-Ray + DVD + Digital Code. This version has a slipcover that was a Disney Movie Club exclusive.
Sadly this transfer is horribly plagued with digital noise reduction. It has a much better 4K transfer on Disney + that I wish they would release on physical 4K like they did with the wonderful transfers for Cinderella and Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
Yeah, it's a Blu-ray release but it really doesn't feel like a Blu-ray due to the garbage transfer they used. Common this Blu-ray stuff is not new. Blu-ray has been on the market for nearly 18 years now, we can do better than this man.
I actually bought that the day it released and it did NOT have a slip cover I wish it did. The slip from the 2009 DVD release slapped!

I have this Disney movie too, but I actually only have it just on VHS though which was released as part of the Walt Disney Masterpiece Collection set.

I like that the front of the slipcover is the original theatrical poster, which is a neat touch.
It’s not a bad release at all, pretty decent in content actually. But the film itself, I hate it, it’s pretty boring and the ending itself is just stupid.
