- Let's chat all the words I'm hoping to write this month! Plus some silly asides on "weekend writing allowances," crazy challenges, and what season each day of the week is. For June, I've got goals to:

Fun idea my grandparents use to do when they travelled every year to Florida for the winter was send out post cards to themselves to look back on when they got home.
Gardening videos, however brief, would be ❤. Your enthusiasm and the dogs will make it fun to watch whatever happens. I’d recommend zinnias and treasure flowers 😊

Erm. Huh. What a random question. I’d divide the week like the year? Monday and Tuesday are Spring, Wednesday and Thursday are summer, Friday and Saturday are fall (cozy vibes), and Sunday is winter (sleep oh precious sleep).
Mon-Tue winter ❄️
Sun/Friday spring 🌸
Thursdays Autumn 🍂
Saturday summer ☀️

It would be cool for you to link your travelogue to your various writing projects at some point.
I'm mostly taking the summer off from formal plans. Giving myself the opportunity to chase adventures be they creative or otherwise. Still loosely writing on my writing days but entirely without any goals. It's been fun to see where inspiration takes me.

I want to just start and finish drafts/rewrites and edits of my first novel and also all the screenplays I seem to be coming up with
I'm brainstorming a new story, and I have the goal of writing at least the majority of the first draft by hand. I like to switch between handwritten and typed when I'm struggling with a scene, since the change makes my brain work differently.
Crossing my fingers that the words fly this month for you! Hm, I dont have a new novel for the 24hr novel challenge but perhaps ill join as i continue my endless round of edits.
Thank youuu! And yes, do join. I think it could work wonders for editing too. Gives you something fun to look forward to since editing tends to take so long, too! (Or maybe just for me, lol.) Counting by the hours of a challenge makes it a little more fun!
I’m doing my best to finish an outline through the month of June so I can spend the back half of the year drafting! Outlining is new for me and on a full high fantasy project, it’s a bit overwhelming but 🤷🏻♀️ we’ll see what happens! How many words? No clue but at least a full save the cat beat sheet and a partial for the second POV

This was such an inspiring and enthusiastic vid!! I'm gonna be writing my thesis for all of this month and won't really have time for anything else 😢 Though I tend to get so many exciting story ideas when i'm just crazy busy with something else lolol! I hope you have a wonderful month ✨✨
Seeing as I’m returning from a whole month of not writing after fighting through a camp nano slump, I think I‘ll not set any goals or pressure on myself. Write when it feels good, write what speaks to me in the moment, gather energy for camp nano next month 🎉 might amount to under 10000 words but hey, progress is progress 😂 I‘d rather see some development on the cover art/professional editing front for my most developed book 🙈
Watching this while mapping the layout of the house one of my characters lives in. I'm working on revisions and I'd like to have them at least halfway done by the end of the month so I can finish in July.
Oooh, that's a great goal! I also need to draw the layout of one of the homes in my story. I'm re-reading and realized it was confusing for me, as the author, so I can only imagine what readers would think bahaha.
I feel like wed and thurs are fall, friday is summer, sat and sun spring and monday winter.

How wonderful to see you so happy and well, Kate! ✨ As for my June words, I'll be happy if I manage to write on my children's book every day, even if it's just a few sentences. I've accepted that I'm a perfectionist snail writer, because even snails finish their books eventually.
sunday is full on summer for me but I agree. Thursdays are very autumn-y😁
working on edits for my historical fiction, but also super excited for being a DM for a small campaign for my group of writing friends! Been figuring out the world and all that! So much fun

It's so inspiring to see you so eager about so many projects! I would like to get the majority of my romance book written (previously called Soul Bound but I changed the premise so that no longer works) this month, just because I've been steadily working on it, generally during your streams! I've been keeping track of my wordcount like a nerd, and last month I got 15,155 words in 497 minutes spread over 7 tracked days (I spent a lot of time off and doing other projects LMAO). Hopefully this month I'll beat that!

Lolol! I've had him for aaaages now! (Ages = five years? Six years? Bahaha.) I got him on a roadtrip and he's been with me ever since. I used to have him on the couch but then he quickly became the dogs' Frankenstein and I wasn't willing to give him up so easily lolol.

I was just thinking about the 24hr novel challenge the other day 😂 I'm so excited for it! I'm rewriting my debut novel this month to release a 10yr anniversary edition in August and I'm also planning to get one novel finished (15k left) and write 30k in another 🎉 I have two covers to reveal soon as well!
AHHH TEN YEARS. Your book baby is ten years old! That's incredible. An anniversary edition is such a genius idea.
My big goal for November is to start the rough draft of book 3 in my Soap Opera series. In order to do that, I want to have Book 2 read by Beta readers. I had an alpha reader, and they had valuable insight.
So for June, I want to start draft 3 of Book 2, so for July Camp, I can finish the draft. Then, I can start outlining book 3, where some stuff goes down.

Monday is march, tuesday is february, wednesday is may or october, thursday is november FOR SURE, friday is august, saturday is december, and sunday is june :)

Oooh man! I made one whole TikTok like 2 years ago and then stayed on the app for WAY too long and promptly deleted it off my phone bahaha. I cannot be trusted with TikTok, so honestly, probably not! I wish I could control how I consume it, but alas bahaha.

Odd question. But there was an electric kettle you used to use? What brand was it? I'm looking for a decent electric kettle for my family member. I did watch your older videos to see if I could spot it.
It's Chef's Star brand! My partner has had it for twelve years (I just asked, crazy!!). I'm sure there are probably better ones on the market now, but lasting over a decade is super impressive.

tbh I've always thought planting shit outdoors was easier. Because you can't mess up the sun. Nature does as nature does y'know? Pots are the devil.
That was sort of my hope! People promised that raised beds were easy, but I've killed "easy" things before too. I'm happy to see that nature is really working despite my involvement bahaha
