This is a great video! I live in the Minneapolis area and mostly fish small lakes within 30 minutes of my house. This process is a grind but so rewarding when you actually find walleyes. Thankful for the Walleye Now app, I’ve learned a lot of new techniques. Keep up the great work!
Good stuff Tom. Great energizing video. Like most of your viewers, I’ll get fired up by watching one of your video’s, buy more gear than I should, hit the lake, fall on my face with very few fish, get frustrated and repeat the process. It’s good to know you have days like the rest of us once in a while, and the grind is real. Thanks for the content.
Have followed your videos for several years now, would continue regardless of production quality for the information alone. But this video without putting pressure on you for more the same, was over the top. More like film production and editing pizazz, the music...angled videography. Just big kudos to yourself and Mitch. Setting a new standard separating from the pack even more.
Thx Tom. You hit spot on a couple questions I had on my last comment, length limits are 18in so you mainly catch 15 to 17 inchers. Will have to do more homework.. keep up the great content..
I'm here to help Tom. It's been a while since you posted a video that I connected with and I'm sure many other anglers watching will like. Just another suggestion, maybe incorporate launching your boat in the video's.
I love studying MN DNR lake data-maps . How do you use our DNR data? Water clarity size Gill net numbers and size. Do you look at the forage base? Less forage =easier to catch? Was not sure what site you were on but did not look familiar.
That is great success on a new smaller lake. Beautiful fish! Try fishing inland lakes in Ohio. They are pathetically underpopulated and overfished. They are as bad as Lake Erie is good.
Tom, I’m in the western portion of NYS. what resources are available to search for density data etc? I’ve got the walleye app if it’s in there Thank you
I would be completely content with 2 eaters 1 mama to go back and a bunch of whatever to keep me interested... that a is a perfect relaxing day for me. Yes I like the crazy days but what you just did would be an ideal every day.
This could be one of my favorite episodes... a real life case of hunting for walleyes, the how to, and the grind ...
Great video Tom.

Yaas! A small lake video, thanks! So many of these next to us that hold good fish, and like you said 3-5 quality fish is a fantastic day.

One of the finest films and yes films that have been presented on this channel!! Very humble film!
Awesome video, appreciate the realism. I’m a walleye nut and I don’t think there’s a better walleye angler than Boley
Love your channel, this is awesome, watching step by step how to figure out what to do.👍

Nice video, nice change of pace!
I’m going to try your set up also.
Good video...nice to get away from the big lake crowds
Love this video Tom. I have a lake in my area that has walleye but better known for bass and Muskie. After watching this I’m gonna give it a shot

I would like to see you come to northern Illinois and fish the rock river and see. How are you doing while I hear that would be awesome
great video!! real life fishing. One video I can relate to. Have you ever fished same lakes that flooded into farm land?
Got the story line rolling kicking it off…good vid.
Go Irish ☘️ beat Buckeyes!
What rod setup are you using for jigging? I can’t find a video of yours on that.
Another new Kalin net. When are those going to be available?

i have been doing this for awhile now because it is so hard to find places to fish that other people haven't found yet.
Where can you find the reports on fish densities?
For Wisconsin just search for DNR SURVEYS Or fisheries survey reports

I hope your on the road to film some destination videos for the app.
Yessir. That is exactly what I'm doing
Hey there, you said you don't fish crawlers in the fall. Why not ?
Nice
In Ontario almost all our fish are wild
how do you tell if the walleye population is trending upwards?
