      Once, I lent this VGA to my friend's PC, which was equipped with a Ryzen 5 5600X. Without utilizing graphic optimization as shown in this video, the system was able to achieve an average fps up to 120!

    Thank you so much for this guide dude. I wanted to give GTA5 a proper playthrough in preparation for GTA6, but I was horrifically confused at how maxing out the game on PC could cause my FPS to dip into the 20s at 1440p. I'm running an Arc A770 16gb which doesn't play nice with older games, but I knew for sure its not that bad either.
    Following the optimized settings in your guide, I was able to run the in-game benchmark and get dramatically higher framerates without much of a cut to quality. Outside of encountering a dip to the 50s as a .01% low, its been a pretty smooth 70s to 100+FPS!

      Hey
      and yes you're correct
      However I live at the end of the internet, literally. The cable gets here and stops.
      So that said playing FPS games or anything competitive is always trash already.
      So I have two options
      Die at high FPS low resolution
      or
      Die at Low FPS high resolution, at least it will be as good as the game as i can set it, with an RTX 3060 on 4k TV @4k
      So worst yes, will it make a difference not really, not with all the controller auto aimers anyway and esp the lag.
      Therefore to extract value for my former costly 2y/o GPU, i may as well die and enjoy the view.
      Besides thanks to all the troll modders and aholes, i mostly end up playing in solo mode.
      My next purchase when the prices come down or at least the feature set as at a reasonable price will be a proper gaming TV at 4K with 100Hz min.
      Besides I couldn't go back to tiny screen after 43 inches of glory.

    As far as I can remember on release disabling Depth of Field on PC was actually broken - in cutscenes you could still spot ugly blurred edges on characters and objects (basically where the focus is supposed to be when DoF is on) in comparison to PS3/Xbox 360 where cutscenes didn't had any DoF to begin with. Curious if that bug still persist, though

    • @holad-jlsegovia-423
      @holad-jlsegovia-423 11 месяцев назад

      it's not a bug, DoF is enabled by default on the next gen releases of the game during cutscenes and when you set the Post FX setting below high, the DoF blur is replaced with bloom with causes the extremely blurred image and washed out image and yup, it's still in the game

    msaa making grass semi transparent gets fixed when restarting the game, i can say from experience since i play on 1440p with msaax4 and that issue isnt present on my end, another point reflection msaa only works on vehicles and buildings glass/windows not on mirrors.

    Thank you very much, I had lower settings and MSAA X2+TXAA anti-aliasing but I saw pixels flickering on the screen and got 50-60fps.... I tried your settings, and what was my surprise when the game became many times more beautiful, pixels disappeared...and the average fps became≈85. THANK YOU

    Anisotropic Filtering is broken on normal shader quality. Using either high or very high should fix it.

    Best thing to do to be honest is just run the game at native resolution and set the game to "normal" and only increase the areas that you visually perceive to be lacking.
    MSAA doesn't really fix the jaggies in this game and isn't supported properly by modern GPU's so it tanks performance more than it should.

      msaa works in GTA 5. msaa has always had an impact on performance because msaa increases the rendering of the game.

    • @skorpers
      @skorpers 7 месяцев назад +1

      @@sanyacev Never said it didn't. It's just disproportionate on modern GPU's. AMD documentation on gpuopen even says 4x msaa or less.

      @@skorpers msaa is a further development of ssaa. ssaa improves the picture by increasing the game rendering by 4 times. In other words, at 1080p the game upscales the rendering to 4k. Therefore, FPS decreases.
      that is, your FPS becomes equal to that of 4k resolution.
      msaa antialiasing optimizes SSAA. msaa does not apply to the entire rendering area of the game.
