Many people, most of them coming from the USA, could not understand that this show's formula was such a success, because: there's no jury, it's not a competition. This episode shows, among others, what the real importance of 'Beste Zangers' is: by giving you an insight into celebrities' personal lives, having them talk and moreover sing about it it offers the viewers at home a moment of self reflection. No competition can beat that.
It's a shit title for the premise of the show.

Well said I just wouldn't say celebrities because it is always a mixed group, some better known than others. So it is not so much 'celebrity watching' but more 'artist watching', and here those artists are vocalists! I love the lack of competition and the absence of ego / experts behind a desk!

Having seen this show for the first time when Floor was on it, I immediately fell in love with the format. I normally don't watch "musical reality" shows. Beste Zangers gave me one I absolutely adore.

I was a child of divorce, it messed with me a lot as a kid, and never wanted my son to go through that, but it happened. I made sure I let him know every day he is loved and I tried very hard to let him know it had nothing to do with him. All kids initially blame themselves. I loved the reaction, Floor holds me in the palm of her hand when she sings.

Name change into Jennie Toppers would be warranted (okay, perhaps lose the "s" to avoid associations with an illustrious trio..). And Floor.. what can you say? She taught me to love my tears. It was such an interesting and informative video - of course I have no idea what it feels like to go through such a terrible trauma Su , all I can say is that you two have come through your trials and tribulations admirably with a little help from him upstairs (as my late Father used to say!😃) and continue to help other people - including myself - to get by in this world with a lot of levity . Thank you for sharing your personal stories. I feel you don’t need to worry about your children since you seem to be very aware and loving towards them. My parents divorced but never put their children in between their problems, so I can’t say I feel damaged by that. Children of divorced parents also forget sometimes how it must be for the parents to divorce and break up a family because they started this family from a place of love. ❤

I think a divorce is better than a bad or abusive marriage.
Even for the kids.
Is the Wolfman growing horns under that mane of gray hair? Divorce is a big part of the downfall of our society. Children without parental guidance to teach them how to be healthy well adjusted adults and to instill a need for them to make you proud. It is not easy, but so important in so many ways. Being parents is all about sacrifice and responsibility over and above our own selfish desires for personal happiness and fulfillment. Life is not easy.

Going back to your post, my only comment is thank God for grace, forgiveness and redemption. Without that most of us would be without hope!!
