- Panel video for Hannibal from San Diego Comic Con 2013. Thx to volunteer Christy and hall h detestor Laney for making the wait in line fun.
Panelists include Hugh Dancy, Bryan Fuller, David Slade, and Martha De Laurentiis.
I can't even imagine what this must be like for Hugh. I don't think his previous work has had such a huge (and slightly obsessive) reaction from so many people like Hannibal has. It must feel good to have your work recognized and so loved by so many people. Unfortunately, the Emmys missed out on nominating a great show with such an outstanding cast.
Also, Hugh Dancy doesn't ship Hannigram but it's okay because Bryan Fuller and Mads Mikkelsen are Hannigram fangirls.

I was very happy with Bryan on what he said about Hannibal and Will's relationship. It wasn't mocking and it wasn't misleading. It was just perfect and still made me as a Hannigram fan happy. I hope I can meet him and the rest of the cast and crew someday. I cheered on that girl's question about Will's condition being the result of cannibalism. She asked using some amazing vocab!

also, BRYAN FULLER IS AN ANGEL. He's the sweetest, most adorable, humble creator of a series I have ever seen and he is so connected to the fandom (even more so than the actors which is amazing). plus, he's fabulous dress sense okay. He doesn't seem to treat the actors or the fans with any condescension like SOME OTHER creators do (ahem jeff davis), lovely man.

Bryan is awesome! He kind of reminds me of Mark Gatiss X) I'd love for Hannibal to go on for 7 seasons, but how long could they really drag out that story line :( And damn fannibals have such well thought-out questions!

definitely. I also love that the team behind the show cares so much for the fans, something like this is really rare. Bryan Fuller is such a cool guy and its nice to see that they are totally aware whats going on in the hannibal fandom, like the hannigram stuff, the flower crowns... on other shows some of the writers/ directors don't really seem to care for what the fans think, but they clearly do. And also thought that this one was one of the best panels, got for example was really boring.

Thanks so much for posting this. The biggest mystery to me is why the NBC marketing geniuses scheduled this after two comedies. That sabotaged the ratings for this great show.
Ive watched like 50% (no clue) of the panels and this is by far the best, amazing questions and they actually took the time to thank the fans and take photos with them
Oh man, if that fan's theory is correct, and Will /did/ contract his disease from cannibalism, then (since Crawford has gotten all buddy buddy with Hannibal), maybe Crawford will lose it and then... Then they'll sniff him out.

I hope the show is getting more and more fans in the future, people who watch nbc are not really the ones who like to watch much gory stuff, if they actually decide to cancel that show at one point, hopefully they will get it to another broadcaster (a cable one). And it would be nice if mads mikkelsen could come to the panel next year too:)

Man I hate that this show is on NBC, why can't it be on Cable when it will atleast be safe. It was a miracle it was renewed for a second season with it's ratings. I hope it can go the distance and hope more people catch up with Season 1 between now and when it airs next year.
Many actors that star in American television shows are British. Just look at Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, House, Homeland and many more. British influence is also heavily prominent in film, most recently look at Daniel Day-Lewis in Lincoln.
