Exactly !!! Not a single Ultralight in the entire video. Misinformation that makes the uninformed believe they can't get one of these planes and fly it with minimal training and few regulatiions. When one of these crashes what is the media going to call it ? An "Ultralight" of course and nothing could be further from the truth.
That's what I did. No experience other than years of R/C and Flight Sim. Bought an ultralight and hit the throttle. The engine almost died on me the first time I flew. He he he. Made it back in one piece somehow. I would not recommend teaching oneself to fly, even though I did. It is far more exhilarating learning by yourself, rather than having some pesky instructor who is always trying to take the controls. I have about 320 hours of time now on my Hurricane. Can't wait to fly tomorrow if this snow stops, lol. If I go longer than a week without flying I suffer from acute withdrawal syndrome.
Actually NOT one, just all LSA, just an FYI Ultralight means 254# single passenger, 5 gallons of fuel...total BS , that's the way to mislead new aviators on what they can fly and cant...wake up!!!!!!!
In reality, it is a group of some the people that were responsible for killing the sport of ultralight flying and most of the businesses that it supported.

I didn't see a single Ultralight aircraft as described by FAR Part 103. These were all experimental category aircraft.

Sport planes.
Much cheaper and easier to get a license to fly one than something like a Cessna.
