To answer your question, everybody thought that shadowhunters would get another season like you could see where they were laying down plot lines and where the storyline was going to go but yeah, still salty about the cancellation and everyone was asking the same questions that your asking right now, how are they gonna wrap everything up in only a 2 hour finale. I do find it funny that Jace and clary are supposed to be the main couple but everyone just loves Magnus and Alec so much more 😂 they are the reason I got so invested in the first place lol anyway get ready for the next episode!

My full comment will come later but just gonna say this is such a good episode, and it just gets better, so I'm excited to see what you think of the last few episodes! Glad to see you, as always, really thinking about this show and what they're doing (and what they're trying to or should've been able to do). It really is a good show so I'm glad you do!

Yeah, these last few episodes can have weird pacing. Shadowhunters definitely deserved another season, even just a half season like the first (which would equal one book per half). Instead, they shoved everything into the last few episodes. I believe the season itself was condensed (I haven't looked at all that in a while and wasn't watching at the time, I saw it a couple years ago, but I do remember reading some stuff that they wanted to explore if they'd had a season 4), but the last two wrap up episodes definitely are. Agh, it just deserved better xd. Anyway, they're still good episodes, they're just A LOT lol.
I feel you lol. I mean it sucks and they're great actors but I just don't care about Clary near as much as I do about Alec and Magnus lol. Still, evil Clary is fun to see! And I'm glad that they had her want Jace to join them. It's an interesting angle to see - just because she's evil doesn't mean she doesn't love Jace still. And most things don't really explore that when somebody's magically evil, so it's cool lol! Also, it makes her and Jonathan seem less romantic, which just- thank goodness xD. Because it is uncomfortable enough as it is 😬. I swear bro is eyeing her in that dress more than Jace is 😭. Anyway, Jace why did you have to do the drugs xd. Literally why sir. If he weren't intoxicated he probably could've kept focus on the ring while kissing Clary and then we wouldn't be in this situation 😭 gosh xd. Anyway, their plan is wild o.o, the fight was pretty cool though! And once again, Jace is getting tossed around like a ragdoll lol. Clary chucking him was pretty good xD. Also just him sliding in front of everyone else LOL, it's dramatic and kind of funny. Anyway, rip, Jace lost her 😬.
I see what you're saying about Maia and Jordan. I want them to be happy, but I do miss Maia and Simon, and I'm just kinda eh on Maia and Jordan xd. Also Raphael is just the sweetest 🥺, coming to pay his respects

We're about to be in the final stretch!! This is such a good episode, and the last few are just phenomenal. Especially given the time they had to wrap everything up! I still wish Shadowhunters got another season, but ah, whatever. Like I said in my other comment (was working on this one, just wanted to get one in before the next episode lol), thank you for really diving deep into this show. It deserves it, and I love hearing your thoughts. It really is such a good show. And this is such a good episode! The drama, the fight scene (really only the one), the rising action for everything to get wrapped up soon - all great, it accomplished what it was aiming for really well :D.
