In another words you got to have eyes all round sawa, they scam here too that's nothing new scammers are everywhere when you come across them take their licences down and report them to the anti corruption agency so they can take measures lawfully. Take with you the proof on your hidden camera .The courts most probably either fine them or luzira at the king's pleasure . Kabaka yaka🙊🙉🙈😁

What I don't understand it's when you order a uber it tells you right away the amount that you need to pay unless they've changed the procedure no way around it wtf is that
It tells you the price, but these drivers just want to get more money from passengers.

Well that said, not all uber drivers in Kampala are evil. The evil ones are the minority . Driving uber in Uganda is a respectable job, that now includes lady drivers. And he's talking about doesn't happen often.

Got scammed by a twat today. On 5th trip this guy showed a screen shot of a higher fare amount. I later saw it was much lower on my app. Made a complaint to Uber got the correct refund. Account owner then claimed I didn't pay anything. So that refund was deducted from me. The car sent was different and so was the driver. He showed my profile on his phone so I thought ok. I did not check my app. I should have but I slipped.
Man, that’s unfortunate, but it happens a lot. Make sure you receive the email from the company before making payment at the end of your trip.
@@tymelondon Uber fixed it. Got back the extra paid on top of trip fair :) I now cancel anyone who turns up in a different car.

Before lamenting ask yourself first where the problem comes from?. Of course from Uber that only listens to clients who always cry foul to pay little pennies for trips. Thing is Uber prices is Uganda are tiny as compared to the car expenses and bad roads. Commission for Uber is way too high, so briefly it’s primarily Uber to blame for all this. If you ask around when Uber was first introduced in 2016, things were all rosy until riders complained about price trips and they were slashed down. There commission wasn’t touched 😂. I tell you if a driver puts fuel of let’s say UGX 100k, they take trips without negotiating,they may end up with a collection of like 110k after getting off Uber commission and fuel. Is that business 🤷🏽♂️
Bottom line is, every job has its pros and cons. No one is forced to register for Uber and become their driver. If you can’t adhere to the rules and regulations of the company you work for, then get another job. Why should customers pay extra just because you feel underpaid by your company?

Dude, I use Uber probably more that you and your whole family put together, when I’m in Kampala. Therefore, I have plenty of experiences that qualifies me to make videos like that.
