      Are you sure you have a 660-9 machine? 660-9 would be a g3 machine and these shims won't work. These shims are for 650 machines, which are the Merlin iV machines. Does you machine have coke graphics on it?

    Excellent video, and great to see that the vending machines are ready to serve for another school year! A question I had for a while, inside a refrigerated vending machine, what area will have the coldest drinks or snacks? Is it like a household fridge where the bottom shelves are usually the coolest? And horizontally, are the sides generally cooler or hotter than the center?

      Good question Ryan....stack machines like the one in this video are designed to keep the bottom drinks the coldest because it vends from the bottom. At the bottom, all the drinks are around 35 degrees F,....regardless if they are in the center or near the sides.

    You need to add 3m antifriction pads to both side off the bottom of your column for water bottles from bridging and it allows you to fill all the way to the top of your column

      I do have the pads on both sides....i still only fill half way.

      @@HappyVending yes, it's a royal 660-9 I live in a Tourist area so I used one of your videos to increase prices. Thank you.
      I've watched so many of your videos but I still don't understand why there are 12 columns and only 9 selections? I know I watched a video before about it, but I can't remember or find it anymore. 😅
      Overall thank you so much. 🙏

    Thanks for sharing That info! we stopped putting water bottles in our Merlin IV because of this very issue. I'm going to get two and give it a try.

    Do you know why machines give a different drink than the one you've selected?

    Hey great video. I have a royal 550 bought the shims, came in today and didn’t realize they didn’t have slits for the shims. I load all 16.9 and they get jammed all the time. What would u recommend.

    • @HappyVending
      @HappyVending  Год назад

      The shims are for the Merlin IV machines...not the gIII machines. Your machine has product stops that can be adjusted for narrow products like cans and 16 oz bottles, and wide products like 20 oz bottles. Make sure your product stops are adjusted for narrow products. I explain how to do it in this video: ruclips.net/video/3r-2ivW6AdU/видео.html

    how your machine shut down since it cant be on during school hours. Is the machine just stopping the ability to vend, but keeping the drinks cold. I am asking because I have an interested High school. I am also wondering how profitable the machine will be since it has to be shut off during school.

      I use the machine's built in timer to turn of the selections during the day....watch this video to see how: ruclips.net/video/CsK_ZSN8F-Y/видео.html
      That machine does about $150 a week in sales only vending before and after school. The biggest seller is Monsters.
