Color is killer! Sounds great too
Awesome review and insight.. sounds killer especially for the money..
I really like the sound of Epi Pro P-90s. Have them in other Epi guitars and they sound great to my ear.
Yeah.. I'm quite surprised how much I like them as well
Man....that things gorgeous.....and pretty amazing price point for a JB signature guitar.
Thanks for sharing your new purchase it seems like a pretty good value
Sounds great man, thanks for sharing, great playing✌😎✌❤👍
Love Epi's, beautiful axe bro.
I still don’t understand why Epiphone can’t or won’t use the correct Les Paul shape with respect to the horn, but good on them for doing this right. The color is killer and I’m not a fan usually of brown or brown-based sunbursts. In this case, the iridescent metallic copper/bronze has an exotic shimmer and looks cool.
@@randrothify The only Les Pauls with the correct horn shape are the custom shops. The standards aren’t even right, I think anyway.
@@dmusumeci Wow! If that’s true it’s just another reason to dislike Gibson‘s management. With all of the lawsuits about everyone else copying their designs and "Play Authentic" and what not and even they don’t get their body shapes authentically correct. If that’s true then they should lose protection for that design because they are not actively protecting it by keeping it broadly n use. It’s actually the one thing that I like substantially more on Gibsons than other single-cuts.
Check out their new inspired by gibson line I just bought one of the 59s I can't put it down
Sounds excellent! Thank you
Nice. Thanks for the review. I have one on order. The truss rod cover you installed covers the 3 holes ok from the Epi (I do wish they would just use the Gibson style)
I ordered one a few days ago, needed a p-90 in the lineup.
I love “got the invoice and some crap here”. Nice job! It’s about the player and the tone so you made the point!!!
Nice! I just ordered an epiphone les paul custom p90s! 🤘
Great demo and playing . Not a JB fan but can’t complain about some of his Epiphone reissues. Some are over £1000 which is nuts for a Chinese import but some pickups etc are a real upgrade from standard Epiphones . Must try one out !
Thanks for the insight!😊
Sweet guitar! I remember around 20-25 years ago Epiphone produced a gold top LP w/p90's and it sold new for $350. I wish I'd of grabbed one back then lol
I bought one of those, it is still one of my favorite guitars. Added a Bigsby about 10 yrs ago😊
Just a quick tip. If you turn your phone sideways it will display your video in landscape without the side bars on the left and right. 🤔 Thanks for the review. 😁
very nice! might have to get one and slap on a bigsby
I was told these are back ordered until january at sweetwater.
Looks/sounds good. How does the neck carve feel in hand? How's the fretwork?
@@stebsonian the neck carve feels great. It really is like a 59 not too big not too small just perfect.
The fret work is pretty good as well. Not fretting out anywhere and no buzzes at all.
@@dmusumeci Thanks very much, i'm definitely going to try and score one of these bad boys soon.
I ordered one yesterday on MF. My sales rep who is very good told me they showed 16 in stock after I bought mine. With over 200 GC stores and the online MF sales they will sell out fast. I don't even like Les Pauls after getting the headless bug but I had to get this one.
I like the finish better than the standards
Awesome i wonder what the guitar sounds like.
Watch the video and you’ll find out.
@@dmusumeci I think it was a reference to the pedals obscuring the clean sound of the guitar.
@@brianhackett-jl3hc hmmm, okay. I, as well as most people think it sounds pretty good with the one pedal that’s engaged, that’s my opinion.
@@dmusumeci So do I! I was just guessing what century2077 meant by the comment.
I should have minded my own business.
Mothers Finest, Mickeys Monkey! Sweet sounding guitar.
Nice Gibson Truss Rod... ;) where did you get it from so it fits Epiphone's wholes? did you just do a middle hole?
@@manelalentorn I cut a black Guitar pick and screw that onto the nut side of the trust rod cover because there’s no wood to screw into above the nut. It’s an open channel. I then drill new hole slightly above the original hole on the top side. It usually covers the two old holes near the nut. On this one, you can see the two holes if you look closely, but it’s worth it to me.
@@dmusumeci good job! :)
Beautiful guitar, what’s the country of origin?
China
@@dmusumeci - thanks
@@dmusumeci thanks
You should compare it to the Gibson back there

Sad part about it is its not considered a signature model, if you didnt have case some people would never know it was copy of one of his quitar, name nots on like his older signature guitars
I actually prefer not having someone else's name on my guitar. Even a "signature" model. And I would be embarrassed to show up at a jam with that case.
Other than that, I really want this guitar!
Sick of bonamassa merch.everywhere.slap a name on it and charge 4 times more for it.nope.i don't even like the guy.
I hear you, but his name is not on the guitar (but I'd be embarrassed to show up to a jam with that case! Nerdville USA???"
Also not a bad price on this one. I expected over $1000.
But you still watching the videos
Ok but here you are watching the video, taking the time to bash Bonamassa… freakin Lame ass
I got the guitar shipped for $764.00.
LOL! Charge FOUR times more??? So by your math this is a $200 guitar? What?? Nonsense. With a hard shell case which run at least $100 soooo $100 guitar really!? A long neck tenon mahogany 59 profile neck, rare finish/color. Pro 90s, Mallory caps, and CTS pots.
What planet are you on or just this bitter over Bonamassa. I don’t even listen to the dude but this is an amazing deal for this level of guitar. I don’t know a thing about his playing but I applaud the hell out of guys like him getting knock-out top tier instruments out in the market that are affordable for gigging and players. J Mascis being the other Saint of guitar signature dudes for affordable top-tier axes for us to have.
