For some silly reason, I ignored the music-thinking that it was Scarborough fair (which I don’t particularly care for). Ten minutes later, and I realized that what I was whistling to myself was actually She Moved Through the Fair (which I quite like). Good choice! And I really love the guitar!
Um, wow that's pretty cool. I'll continue to buy twine if I need it, but good to know if I'm stranded in the woods and have plenty of time to let those fibers dry. 😂💜👍
im in search of study materials/sources on what plants can be used for fiber/genus etc. I was not aware of rose being one. Did you just try this idea yourself or did you read about it somewhere?
I’m so sick of just throwing away clippings and spending money on pots. I’m going to weave baskets and use old ice cream gallon buckets drilled with holes as pots from now on ✌🏼
i tried this method with no luck....i had to resort to beating the outside layer, opening up and then scrape out the center and outside green part to get fibers from my rose bush. im trying both Knockout Rose And Teacup Rose to see how the fibers are. but im glad i learned i can use my rose trimmings.
Okay so I always see these tutorials for starting and making the cordage but it never shows how to finish the rope. Do you just give it a couple overhand knots? Or a sheepbend?
Do you have any yutorials on how you're twisting there, plus the other vids you show like weaving etc, which is so great but too fast for us complete novices? Thank you 🌠🙏

What to do with these cords?
Could you mention videos on basic weaving techniques as shorts have them but bit speedy way of showing.
