I'm so glad deep house, techno, tech house and just real house in general is growing as an underground thing here in Sweden, trying to get a foot inside so I can start playing real music in front of people who undertsnad this type of music, big dream of mine!
House is energizing, it's beautiful, it's funky, groovy, sexy, therapeutic... I owe so much to house and for having discovered deep and tech house by accident essentially. That's what some people don't understand today, especially those who bash us house heads. This is all about letting go, like you said, not giving a fuck, and just being there for the music. This is a great set. You can tell that this isn't your ordinary Boiler Room audience and set; the people are really feeling the music. That's the essence of pure House music.
The transitions and sounds are amazing, it's hard to hear when he switches tracks. That's really hard to do. He is spot on. Not how he uses his effects only at breaks and he has his nobs worked to perfection. A true artist.
I'm actualy not very much into "smoother better" transitions I think it gives a raw and soulful sense to a mix when u actualy feel one is coming and other it's going, something like move D does.. As long as the tracks stay in sync ofc.. But in kerri chandler's casr I'm with you.. He mixes like crazy and the tunes are just out of this world. A true legend

I discovered this set in 2015 when I was 22. I just moved to California. One weekend I went to the gay beach in Laguna by myself. All I had was my loud speaker and this music. I met so many people that day and we all danced to this. Literal magic. This takes me back and I listen to it at least once a week. I’ll never get sick of it!

I've noticed that some of the legendary House DJ's sometimes have questionable transitions, but then I try to imagine the vibe of the place and I wonder if I was there would I even notice it? Not sure. I guess also this proves that they're humans and not machines, no sync no nothing. Some transitions are absolute hits, some aren't, but the flow of the music and overall set is what you remember after such night. That's the beauty of live sets!
