I love how Ned always has a beer gut when he's wearing clothes but somehow turns into a Greek God when he takes it off.

This one isn’t too big, but ever since the very first episode, every time they show the outside of the nuclear power plant, a crow caws. It usually happens every time they transition to a new scene taking place there. It always makes me laugh!

I've watched The Simpsons so much I can usually tell which episode it is just by the couch gag................ I, erm, I am not proud of this fact.

I don't agree with #1. #1 Should've been Homer always saying "D'oh!" He said it so frequently it actually became a real word.
Maybe because it didn't originate with him. Dan Castellaneta got it from comedian James Finlayson who appears in many of the old Laurel and Hardy movies.

The running gag "Springfield's State" was such a big deal that it came up twice in the crossover with Family Guy. First with Brian stating that no one in the Griffin family were worthy to know what state they were in. The second was when they tried to do the Kool-Aid guy gag but he doesn't show up in the courtroom only to call Peter and say that he's "in the wrong Springfield".
I love the Maggie violence gag!
So do I! Maggie is so underrated and her using violence is the only way to show what she's capable of.

Simpsons have greatest set of characters in history of tv shows.
Saying that those in authority have no clue in The Simpsons is a huge understatement. Homer almost avoided a DUI bust in one episode by fooling the cops into thinking he was sober but it all fell apart when Barney Gumble threw him under the bus by saying "Give him the breathalyzer!" to the previously mentioned cops. One use of that device exposed Homer's drunk driving. There's also the matter of Homer's tenure as the "Beer Baron". His making his own beer in his basement caused a clearly obvious sign over Evergreen Terrace(where the family lives no less) and no one caught on.

One of my favorite running gags is when Bart is yanked or pulled by someone off screen he does this cute little "hywuh" sound every time.

Maggie's scene in the movie when she breaks her bottle is hilarious!
If you look closely at the Mr Burns scene, Maggie did not fire the gun by choice. The safety just so happened to come off with the impact of the gun landing in Maggie's hands. If anyone shot Mr Burns, it was Sir Isaac Newton.
Newer revolver models have a transfer bar or hammer block, there is however no physically manipulated safety like a Beretta M92 or a S&W 4006. Giving bad info about firearms doesn't do anybody any good.

I've watched the Simpsons in both english, and french. And I'll tell you, Moe getting prank called is god in both languages. It's gotta be hard for the translators sometimes. You can't say Ivana Tinkle in french, but you can say my butt; Maude Erriêre, which said fast sounds like Mon Derrière.
Favorite part though, is when Bart goes inside Moe's Tavern, and when Moe hears him speak, he says; "I know that voice." Bart thinks he's been made, but Moe just states that it's his pal Bart Simpson. And when he asks Bart what he's been up to, Bart says he's been doing prank calls. To which Moe replies; "That's my boy."

0:42 and I just realized Homer had at least 3 seconds to grab the bottle instead of just looking down in horror for those 2 seconds and then chasing after Bart. He'd still have way less of the formula than he'd have liked but he'd at least had SOME left, then he'd have had his hair when he gave his big speech and things would've gone fine.
Homer was somewhat reasonable for how bad things went himself. Bart was still the most reasonable, like 98%, but Homer isn't completely free of blame there
