@@mwcloud just failed mine to I feel like I know the material the exam is very tricky with long winded questions that trip you up going to go through your video series and retake

Hi Michael, fantastic content as usual, I was wondering, do you just use a pay as you go subscription for your demos / testing things? How do you ensure you keep your costs down if so?

As a Microsoft Certified Trainer I get $100 a month in Azure which is nice, but you still have to keep an eye on costs. The best thing to do is set up an Azure cost alert learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cost-management-billing/costs/cost-mgt-alerts-monitor-usage-spending you should do this as soon as you can as some services that look like they would be cheap are not (looking at you firewall) nothing will be shut down based on cost unless you script that but at least you get an email. That and make sure you know about things like spot instances to really keep your costs down for testing.
