To be fair, the models should've been able to touch the fabric and see the fabric closer actually, quality and/or price comes with the products longevity not only looks
I think the point wasn't just about that, though. It was about LOOKING good -- and models are about looking good. It wasn't about the quality of the material, it was a question of "could you deceive people into thinking these close LOOK expensive" bc price doesn't matter. And, they could. Most people in real life aren't going to feel your shirt and pants and try to clock you on price. But that only got one right each time, meaning, if you were just strolling down the street NO ONE will know how cheap your clothes are.

They don't necessarily look better... The price of clothing depends more on brand names nowadays than anything else... an example of that is Zara, which takes clothes produced by slavery-based companies sold to tons of other chinese brands popular in AliExpress/eBay and reprices them with Zara's standard prices.
Yeah, expensive clothes can look better, but if they are Gucci, they'll be extremelly more expensive than regular high quality clothes just because they are Gucci and nothing else.

There's a lot of editing and adjustment that goes on in post with modeling photoshoots. Can make average looking people look amazing, and good looking people look impossibly perfect, haha.

I don’t understand how all three of the models are being labeled “jerks” when only one actually said something distasteful. The other two didn’t do or say anything wrong. Actually overall they all complimented the looks and were respectful.

Expensive doesn't mean better, I mean I still don't understand why people pay more for real leather like it's expensive, it's animal cruelty, it's more delicate so less durable... and not even this "experts" could tell the difference.

Sometimes high-end things are made cheaply, so I get why they were thrown off. And texture/quality is usually one of the best ways of telling if something was made well and expensive, or how long a piece of clothing actually lasts.
All of these expensive clothes and Evan is still lowkey flexin with the RO Ramones.
That was a tough contest on the biker jacket when the guys didn't even get to feel the leather up close. Plus Zara does a great job in styling and getting good quality sift leather making the jackets look and feel more expensive. The Theory leather looked more softer, the way it draped, the guys missed that and went for the details.
When the models where just chilling,they still looked like they where posing 😂😛

Working a lot of years in retail with expensive clothes i gotta tell everbody a secret....a lot of brand names have lowered their quality just because people want to flash a brandnamed item and they dont give a shite about the fabric so thats why these guys couldnt find the right anwsers...the price has nothing to do with quality! If you like it buy it thats what i suggest!
Got them all right accept for the leather jacket! I thought the brown was most expensive due to the hardware and the color. If only I could see these pieces up close!
I would like to see designers guess cheap vs. expensive clothes. These models are ok, but they aren't specifically expected to judge the clothes that they wear, they just promote them. Designers may have a more keen sense about the style in the clothes(or lack thereof😅)

Loool, to be honest I think it’s always easiest to pick-out the cheapest item, since there is very little difference in quality between mid-range and high-range clothing. The markup is usually marketing+the name [obviously there are some exceptions, like late Azzadine Alaïa’s stuff].

if you're comparing basics like a plain leather jacket or plain t-shirt, it really depends on the person who wears it. A very good-looking guy can wear a cheap t-shirt and make it look expensive, and vice versa

Price doesn't necessarily mean quality though, and some brands are just wildly overpriced to the point that cost is basically just arbitrary. Being able to tell what is the highest quality is a much better skill than what is the most expensive.
I'm not trying to degrade the models, but Evan has the "flare" than all three of them combined. Also, my oh my that one model saying, "my boxers probably cost more than your outfit" was honestly disgusting.
The medium ones were from inflated priced low-quality high street brands. It's not surprising they couldn't tell the quality difference because there isn't necessarily one.
They put basically 3 cheap short sleeve shirts.... and make them guess... it would be great to see actual cheap/medium/expensive options like: 50$ or less, 200$ or less, 500$+.
There is a lot of fabric, cuts, etc. details of higher end brands and signatures, etc. Often the cheaper brand just try to copy the expensive ones and because you only have cheap options, they basically end up voting for the closest to actual luxury clothing for these 3 cheap examples?
expensive usually means feels better, fits better, and lasts longer
I print garments of ALL types, styles, materials etc and have done for 14 years, I know that there is nearly NO difference between expensive and cheap in price apart from the expensive ripping you off most of the time - this is why I do not use Apple products. I shop better for superior and cheaper alternatives that think different and just work.
