Which version should be added to the Deluxe album?

    • @gmanbo
      @gmanbo 2 месяца назад

As my comment below says I think
      1
      But it's your album.
+ Setting theme and feel are definitely your wheel house.

All versions are amazing but I have to go with version 3💀💪💯

Haha I knew #3 would resonate with some. It seems like it would fit Forged in Faith more, but then the chorus is too melodic, but the verses little heavier than the rest of He Leadeth Us' album. Ty though!

Depends on what you want for the album.
1 if you want a song with a bit more blended feel that can reach a bit more audience.
2 if your going for the best sound possible.
3 if were going for the hardest guitar. + Metal vocals.
1 feels the most sacred/ spirit based with rifts out of the mass itself.
I personally prefer it. The instant call back to being in mass is excellent.
Along side that the penitental rite is a feeling that all dominations will quickly grasp. Few christians find fault with acknowledgeing your own fault.
    But.
    Its your album

I like that you mention the Mass. I try with this (even though it's AI) to strike the balance of orchestral deathcore with the sacredness of the liturgy and prayers (and still keeping it open enough for all faith traditions). TY for these great insights!

I like all of them, but I prefer #2.
#1 has the feel of a softer track that many bands do to showcase their talent. As cool as it is, it feels reserved, like it wants to go hard, but is being held back in favor of lighter music. Vocally complex, and good, but perhaps befits a “radio release”
#3 hits hard, heavy musically, but the vocals, while good don’t quite fit the lyrics/message in my opinion.
#2 is the middle ground in my opinion, larger range in vocals and doesn’t feel forced into the gutteral or fried like #3, but still meets the aggression expected in this album.
I really enjoy listening to this music you’ve made. Keep up the good work.

Awesome feedback. On point with #3, it doesn't fit the message or even the album, though it sounds awesome. I may release it under Forged In Faith instead.
I originally chose #1 and haha, I liked the "radio release" comment. I had discarded #2 at first, but then listened again and found it nice.
We'll see! Decision time is soon! One of them will just be a "bonus" track, just gotta decide which one.

No question about it. 1 is the best. Starts off strong and then melts than back to melting. 2 is too similar to your other songs. 3 is good, but 1 is just better.

Nice. I'm personally torn between 1 & 2. Number 3 is awesome but little too heavy, maybe for an Forged in Faith album. Ty bro!

    This is the fact....
2&3 versions are pretty heavier and technical...
    Powerful riffs and stronger vocals..
And version 1 have great choruses and melodic scores....
    But l prefer number 2....

Thanks brother! It's a hard choice for me, because I also try to think of how it will fit the album. This will come after Creator Spiritus and after Kyrie. Or I can put both, the other one at the end as a bonus...

I have been fairly decent about making the metal songs i want i just cant figure out how to make album art and a band name for a RUclips page. I am making bible based metal and worship songs. I was thinking about redoing hymns as well. My genre is dark thrash metal that i am working on right now.

Sorry, I go in between accounts! Best if you reach me by email (maybe I'll make a Discord channel for other creators to join in and give tips!). For the name, I usually think 2 things: 1) Something personal (a word or Bible verse or phrase that encompasses my philosophy of life or what I want to showcase), and 2) that someone who doesn't know me would know this is a metal band (even if AI) or project.
You can ask AI like ChatGPT or Claude or Poe to help you brainstorm, if you don't like the suggestions tell it why, and also start new chats so it gives you different ideas.
Once you have the name or theme and feel, it's easier to create the images based on that.

If I think dark thrash metal, I'm thinking of Metallica but darker, so something from Metallica's or similar artists' albums and twist it to have Godly meaning. Or existing Christian thrash metal bands, and see if anything similar comes to mind.
Maybe concepts like John of the Cross' "Dark Night of the Soul" or something from spirituality, like spiritual desolation, that gives you both a Christian perspective but still sounds dark.
Maybe a Psalm that inspires you or encapsulates your songs and vision, and focus on a phrase and see how to make it sound metal. "He Leadeth Us" was inspired by the Psalm and a book by a priest who was imprisoned by the atheistic Communist regime in Russia, the book's title is "He Leadeth Me."
Or maybe something already from one of your songs! :)
