Thank you so much!! I live in a remote location and getting a handy man is so challenging!! This was a lifesaver and helped me so much- my washer no longer floods the room!!! You're amazing!!
Thanks! I fixed this in 10 minutes, my husband spent more than 30 minutes looking at all the things yesterday. So not only do I have a working washer, but I have extra handy woman points.
This is exactly what happened to me! Thank you so much for posting this!!! So very grateful. I thought it was a bad/stuck valve which I just replaced 6 months ago. You are a gem and a savior.😃
You are so welcome!
Thank you for the tip : it was exactly the problem with our washer today 👍
Thanks so much for posting this video! Started my morning off with water all over my laundry room floor. Started stressing out that I was gonna have to call someone to come fix my washer. Thankfully I found this video! Super easy fix. Saved me money and saved my day.
You are so welcome!
You were right! Thanks so much!
Exact same scenario. Thanks this was a big help! Took about 15 minutes to take back cover off, connect and clamp hose and close up. Appreciate you putting out this video.
Glad it helped, I added a different type of clamp to mine. So far so good
Thank you sooooooo much!! My washer started to leak, I was looking for appliance repair companies and I came across your video. I followed your step by step tutorial and sure enough the same tube was loose! You saved me a lot of money! Thank you again!!
Glad I could help! Wasn't that simple to do? Good for you!
This is apparently quite common, as it happened to me yesterday! Thank you so much for posting! Definitely saved me a couple of hundred dollars in repairman costs.
Yes the comments on this video proves that. Crazy simple thing that shouldn't happen. Have a great day!
This is what was exactly wrong with my unit - saved me tons of money and easy fix. Thanks so much for sharing!
You're welcome!
Same thing here! We thought we'd have to call someone in so before I dialed I took a quick peruse through RUclips. This was the first video I came upon and it was exactly the same. Thanks so much for posting this! 10 minutes later we've got a smooth running washing machine and no water leaks.
That's great to hear!
Awesome, saved me a bunch of money- I almost called out a service guy. I took off the back of my Samsung washer and it was exactly as in the video. Big thanks!
Cool to hear you got it!
Thank you!!! Literally same error code and everything, quick fix and good as new!!!
I want to say thank you so much for this video. Based on other videos, I initially thought it was the water valves and bought the parts. It was still leaking water until I saw your video and problem solved. Thank you again!
You are very welcome 😊
Exact same issue here! Thank you so much!!
You are a lifesaver, thank you so much. I'm not very mechanical but this video made the repair so easy even I couldn't mess it up. Thank you 😊 again.
You bet! Glad it all worked out.
Thank you so much for this video. We thought it was the drain line and tilted the washer back but everything was secure so we went to RUclips and found this video. Took the back of the machine off and just as you said...that little hose was disconnected. We connected it back and are back to doing laundry. Awesome!
What a pain this dumb little clamp is. I imagine some people sustained water damage to their home just because of a clamp
Thank you for posting. I had no idea what might be wrong, and I didn't realize water was leaking. Such an easy fix thanks to your video.
You're welcome 😊
Just wanted to give a quick thanks ❤️ I assumed it could have been the gasket bad in the tub. Flipped it over and noticed water only on one side on the floor. Found your video and that’s exactly what it was.
You're welcome 😊
Thank you so much! Exactly THE problem!
Exactly our problem! Thanks a lot!!
Thank you so much! My teenagers severely overloaded the washer and I also got the E04 error code and wet floor. This simple fix addressed it. I can't imagine trying to find a repair place open over the holidays. Merry Xmas & Happy Holidays!
I'm glad you found this video and it saved you money. 🙂
We have the same washer and this is the exactly what the problem was. Thank you so much for this video. Keep posting them.
You're welcome 😊
Thanks for posting this! My wife noticed water under the washer after I’d started the laundry this morning. She told me about the error code as well. This was the first video that popped up, and was exactly the same problem.
You're welcome 😊
Thank you so much for posting this. After cleaning out every tube and filter and checking every connection and still having a small leak with 4E error code. On Christmas Eve/Day with company that just left we were up to our eyeballs in laundry and we were about to give up and found this video. This is exactly what the problem was.. that little tube unconnected. Hooked it back up and we are back in working order. Seems a common problem that Samsung should be aware of. Such an easy fix and without this video looks like a bunch of people would of spent time and money on an easy repair!! THANK YOU!!!!
You're welcome!
That was just what happen to mine. Thank you for sharing the information. God Bless..
Thank you so much! We had the same exact thing happen and was able to fix in about 10 minutes with help of this video
Perfect!
Thank you! I was able to fix it myself in 10 minutes! If I hadn’t have found this video I would’ve spent a couple hundred for a plumber for such an easy fix.
That's cool, and you are welcome! couple hundred bucks is better in your pocket.
Me too man saved my life
Roland. Thanks greatly for your video on the wash tub hose. That was exactly the problem on our leaking Samsung WA422 top load washer 2014 vintage. It worked loose after another repair 6 months ago replacing the tub hanger rods and I probably did not clamp it on firmly after wrapping it around the hanger rod - which was how it came from the factory. Incidentally, this tube communicates with a drum water level sensor up on top and if you proceed with a wash despite the disconnected tube (as we did once) the fill water will not stop and overflow the tub top too. That was a lot of bailing! :))
Lol you're welcome 😊
Thank you for the tip, I took my washer back off and you were right the clamp was off and hose just hanging there. Thank you for saving a service repair call.🤩🤩🤩
Glad it all worked out for you!
Perfect! Thanks! So much easier than the Samsung website.
You're welcome 😊
Thank you so much for this video. I was ready to buy a new washing machine. But my son found your video and was able to repair my washer easily. Thanks again.

Your welcome 🙂
Thank you this was so helpful and has saved my family so much money.....same Samsung top loader, been running for about 12 years or so....and the exact same pipe had come loose on our as well!
Great, glad you fixed it and saved money.
I popped it off when changing the shocks for the dc error code. Leaked when I ran the washer and I knew I must of did something. Sure enough the white tube popped off. You saved me from the repair man. Thank you
You are welcome!
Thank you so much. My washer had the same 4E error. I watched your video - helped me identify and fix the problem (tube and clamp). Yay!!
Very cool!
Thank you soooo much!!! We didn’t catch the leak early enough to see exactly where the water was leaking from, so the water pump was also really wet. I went and bought a new water pump but when I took the old one off it didn’t rattle or anything so I thought that was odd, but went ahead and installed the new one anyway. Tested it out with one towel in the drum on rinse and spin and it worked. Thinking everything was fixed we did our large load again but it leaked-again! But luckily we were watching the machine closely so noticed it was leaking from the right side, and googled for an answer and found your video. What an easy fix!! Wish I saw this video earlier, could’ve saved me $100, but I guess now we have an extra (old) water pump, just in case
That's a tricky one for sure. I thought it would be the pump as well. Glad you figured it out. 😀
Thanks for the tip. The hose on our WM had come loose too.
Same as all the others - problem solved! Used the same clamp as you since I had one lying around.
Cheers!
Wow thank you, just fixed the problem.

You are welcome, glad it helped!
Thank you thank you thank you for posting this!! Saved me a repair man visit!!!
Awesome, glad you fixed it!
Yes! This was the answer I was looking for.! I have to say the clamp is junk. After years, the hose will have an indent in it, and clamp is will not so be strong anymore, and that’s why this hose comes off, and it probably won’t hold as well again. This guy did a follow up on the hose coming off again and used a circular hose clamp. I highly suggest getting one- a 5/8-5/16 clamp is $1.90 at Honey Depot.
Just fixed this exact problem. Error was 4E, saw a small leak coming out the bottom, upon inspection, saw that the pump and tank seals were completely dry, and observed water dripping from the back right side of the black plastic base. Saw the loose tube and clamped it back on. That tube was covered in some kind of grease, not really sure why. Anyways, put it back on, no more leak.
Thank you for this video!
Thanks so much for this! I thought it was my water pump as well, but the washer wouldn’t leak until the water level got so high. Watched this video and checked again, sure enough the hose was detached.
