How was the shifting in the car ? I drive a BMW at the moment and I am thinking of switching to the new 2008. I have driven a Peugeot a few times 8 years ago and back then the gearbox was no where close to a BMW's gearbox. Does the shifting is decent now or still now the best ?
I want to ask about the width (1770) of the vehicle. Is this vehicle family-friendly, because it looks very tight to me, especially when viewed from the outside.The length is ok (4300).
What do you think about the M/T. I bought 308 puretech 130ps M/T past December for my wife and i hate the gearbox. Not accurate, not fast enough and too long stick. Is it an better for 2008 or should i make peace with my self and buy 2008 or C4 my2121 as EAT8?...
I agree. I have a 2023MY 2008 1.2 130 manual. I don't like the gearbox. Has a notchy long throw. Doesn't like to be rushed. I should have chosen the automatic. The car is otherwise very nice.
This car makes me feel something strange about It. The exterior design is rather pretty but the interior, for me, not. The engine of this version tested is a bit noisy and not only for quantity but for quality. I drove the 1.2 110 CV and It seemed to me more refinated and nice to use. I know it's the same engine but that was my feeling driving It. Another interesting test, another good job!!!!

On the previous 2008 with 130 hp EAT6, it’s around 7 litres. WLTP consumption is 6.6 litres for 130 hp EAT8 and 148g CO2. WLTP consumption are usually quite real.

Still much better than VAG's 115ps gross diesel. 130ps blueHDI or 155ps puretech good choices imo
