I love that the vids are not only about bookshop but also about reading books! Really funny challenge can be to choose something from the shop that is not on your list and read it in vlog 😊
Glad you like that! We’re so excited to share more bookish content this year and really lean into that aspect of the job now :) Love the reading challenge you described, we’ll totally do that soon!
By the way the shop is looking AMAZING and you've inspired me, as an illustrator, to give back to my community. I'm starting a little secret campaign to stock the little free bookshops in my area after realizing there wasn't a single children's books available. Shelves were empty! So....thank you! :)
great job. If you have stats, you can share your top selling books Jake sort of touched on it as he walked around the store showing shelves. Or if you have store book clubs you can share their books. Also, top kid books.
IQ84 has been on my tbr for years at this point, so I'd love to hear your thoughts later on. I personally hated The Silent Patient, but loved Beloved! Love this style of video!
Thank you for being such an active member in our community! We seriously appreciate you and want you to succeed in your bookish endeavors, too! Keep up the great work :)
I just finished The lost Bookshop and really enjoyed it ! 1Q84 is on my TBR for ages , but after I read some other books by him I’m just not sure if really want to start this brick of a book ! 🤭
Oh, so glad you enjoyed it! It sure looks cute, we’re excited to read it and share our thoughts :) and 1Q84 is quite the undertaking, we may have to read it altogether in a book club so we stick with it, somewhere down the line haha
Are you ladies on Goodreads? This month I've read Edge of Collapse by Kyla Stone. Currently reading Edge of Madness by Kyla Stone and Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir. WTR any books in both series. My goal this year is 10+ books. Last year I only managed 2.
Just started ACOTAR for the first time, wondering what you guys think if you've read it? Also listening to the War and Peace audiobook which is like 61 hours long. And I'm finishing up the Autobiography of Malcolm X, which is insanely good, a must, must read.
Oooh we’ll have to make an ACOTAR review video because we read the series together. It was fun, although our views on it do differ! That’ll be fun to discuss. War and Peace is such an undertaking! And we’ll have to check out the Malcolm X autobiography, thank you for the recommendation!
I’ve read The Hours by Michael Cunningham and The Importance of Being Ernest by Oscar Wilde so far this year. About to start Richard Osman’s We Solve Murders and Bob Mortimer’s The Hotel Avocado. I wasn’t a fan of The Silent Patient. It wasn’t for me.
Oh, I’ve heard such good things about The Importance of Being Ernest and We Solve Murders! I actually haven’t heard of the other two, I dont think, so I’ll check them out. Thanks for sharing!

What is the name of the Lincoln book you shared ?
It’s called “The Life and Writings of Abraham Lincoln: edited, with a biographical note, by Philip Van Doren Stern” 😊
