Worth Seeing? Yes it is and very relaxed presentation with appreciation with love to watch. A great comparison to my first SYD to LAX economy flight 42 years ago with Air New Zealand DC-10-30 December 1980 ZK-NZS with stops at Auckland and Honolulu then into LAX. Great leg room with two movies and hot meals served lunch, dinner and breakfast during the sectors with old tube ear sound system. 16 mm films shown on the cabin front cabin screen. Hot cloth towel delivered. Solid chocolate brown earthen ware served during meals and glass ware. Wines, beer, spirits, liqueurs were offered as well in economy. Yes I am old school flying that how it was and miss it!
Keep up with your good work.

You don't have to sacrifice legroom by leaving your backpack under the seat in front of you for the whole duration of the flight. Your backpack needs to be stowed under the seat only for takeoff and landing. During the flight you can move the backpack (and shoes) under your thighs leaving the area under the seat in front of you completely clear to stretch out. If you were in a window seat you can also leave your backpack against the cabin wall next to your seat except for takeoff and landing.

Is there a spot where an Auxiliary cord can connect to the headphones? Like can I attach my Bluetooth wireless transmitter to it to be able to use my headphones?

Which seat were you at? I am flying soon and I am planning to put my carry on bag under the seat in front of me because I have short legs and I want to use my bag as a leg rest . I have selected an aisle seat but some aisle seats have engine boxes underneath . Appreciate your feedback .

I sat in one of the middle 4 seats, so not by a window. I don't think many seats have engine boxes underneath them so you should be fine. The bag under the seat is good if you want to access it and have short legs, but if you want more space you can easily put it above.

Worth Seeing? Thanks for your reply just to add flew Air New Zealand December 1983 Boeing 747-219B ZK-NZZ from Sydney via Auckland, Nandi, Honolulu onto Los Angeles. Noted cabin services level had dropped. No more what was with the DC 10 service. Was served small meal trays no earthen ware. Very hard seats B747 in economy was uncomfortable. As to aspect I liked window seat in economy on the DC10 with 2-5-2 configuration and I did not like the 3-4-3 on Air New Zealand B747-219B in economy. Just to add Air New Zealand had 2-4-2 on the DC 10-30 on introduction from 1973 until 1976 in economy. Then was added another row to 2-5-2 and an additional toilet at port side front of zone B.
Worth Seeing? Of course comparison over the years and service well done with thanks.
    Ansett 727.

With reviews like this one I can understand why airlines don't see the need to improve their standards. Have travelled over 100 times between Europe and Australia since 1978 and noticed a steady decline in Service and Quality. I just wonder where this will end in let's say 20 or 30 years ??

Don't they have stowage above the seats for carry-on luggage?
