      The Chinese manufacturers have solved the speed problem. Now they just need to make it look smoother and allow people to turn that on or off like if someone likes the fast and jittery transition more power to them!
      I just think the phone needs some more optimization in terms of video, you can see the iPhone doesn't change exposure as drastically when switching. I mean it's on par with the android benchmark for the west that is the S24 Ultra so i think Xiaomi are golden!!

    Except for portraits, Xiaomi win again and again. More detailed photo, best managementeof dark zone. The yellow tons on iphone are so ugly and S24 is too dark with lost of details.
    The stabilization, the zoom is impressive in all xiaomi cases.

      I would think in portrait mode with the xiaomi easy enough to add a filter if a desired tone is preferred? Personally I thought the raw Xiaomi portrait was fine. But I’ll try a black mist filter in portrait when I get my phone.

      Just take the portrait on the Xiaomi 14 Ultra normally. No need for portrait mode. It does a much better job in the gallery app after you take the photo. This is due to Xiaomi 14 Ultra not having a dedicated ISP chip. This is also why the Xiaomi 14 Ultra kills the battery life as well when using the camera.

    Wow, that's another realistic comparison from you. I watched a couple of 14 Ultra comparisons with iphone and samsung but, they were not honest reviews. They were so set on promoting the big brands.
    RUclips reviews are becoming so obnoxious that they trying to highlight a particular brand iphone or samsung by picking the scenarios where that particular brand doing better and cheating people.
    Your videos always seem very honest compared to all those fake reviews. Thanks for that and keep going. By the way I didn't expect 14 Ultra doing so worse on portraits. They should fix that as soon as possible by a software update or something.

      It could be because I am paying for my phones by myself, no sponsorship or collaborations, hence I can just be honest with my reviews. But even then, some of these things are really subjective, i.e., you might like photos with colder white balance or I can like them warmer and etc.

    It's still surprising the quality of these 3 monsters, one of which has just been born and will gain strength over time. What surprised me the most in your video is the quality of the far zoom of the 14Ultra, Xiaomi once again broke the game with this trick before it was taken up by others unless a patent is filed. For the rest I agree with you on your analysis. If I had to pick just one today with what you showed us I would go without hesitation for the 14Ultra which already seems to me to be very versatile, praying that it only improves all around. dude, your camera comparisons are simply amazing, and your videos overall are too, but seriously your camera comparisons are so good !!!!!!
    i hate how the chinese phone are going hard on the EIS during video recording, it makes the lights bounce everywhere, it is not good, they have to fix that...
    but overall I prefered back camera low light footage of Xiamo 14 ultra, the 15 pro max softens the image a lot of the time, FPS goes down much harder too, more noise when panning too... impressed by the 14 ultra
    daylight photos -> xiaomi overall best details, best exposure, best white balance (but it has some red tint maybe) ? very nice
    portraits -> i hate overexposure, BAD XIAOMI BAD !!!!!!
    HDR Day test -> Xiaomi won by far, HDR is much better handled AND at the same time the photos produced by it are still the more contrasty, even with "natural" colors so that's very very good
    Low light overall -> xiaomi winning by far in all scenarios except in portraits... I wonder how the exposure of the face would have been like without the "portrait" mod, only in normal photo mod
    love how the xiaomi manages the HDR, not trying to get idiot details in low light when it's not needed, how it keeps outputing the most contrasty images without sacrificing the "natural" colors and look... very nice

      @@VelianSpeaksTech , разликата е най-очевадна при заснемане на растителност (дървета, храсти), огради и човешки лица в далечината. Лично съм сравнявал как е при 9,9-кратно и 10-кратно увеличение и не мога да разбера защо "Самсунг" не са заложили тази по-качествена обработка по подразбиране.

    • @VelianSpeaksTech
      @VelianSpeaksTech  7 месяцев назад +1

      Да, потвърждавам, мисля да направя и видео по темата, особено в 12MP е силно изразено, в 50MP разликата е доста по-малка, но в факт, че Сами правят 10х и нагоре обработката по-разлипен начин

    • @AutomotiveCNC
      @AutomotiveCNC 7 месяцев назад +2

      @@VelianSpeaksTech , с нетърпение ще изгледам видеото, когато е готово. Между другото, забелязал съм при редица модели на "Самсунг", че заснемат по-подробна картина, когато кадрите са във формат 4:3, отколкото ако са 16:9, така че разликата не е само в липсващите горна и долна част от кадъра при снимките във формат 16:9, ами са и с по-лошо качество. И друго интересно - Galaxy S24 Ultra заснема по-добри цветове във формат 50MP (или 37MP, ако снимките са 16:9), отколкото при 12MP.
      Ако имаш подръка и Samsung Galaxy S21 (не Ultra), може да направиш друго видео със съпоставка между неговия режим 64MP срещу 50MP на S24 Ultra. Не зная как е сега, но преди последното обновление на камерата на S24 Ultra старичкият S21 го размазваше в ярки условия, тъй като ползва нормален Bayer филтър, при който има 4 пъти повече пиксели от обичайните Quad Bayer филтри на почти всички съвременни камери. Естествено, в по-тъмни условия S24 Ultra е значително по-добър от S21. Особено странно ми се стори това, че при двукратно приближение S24 Ultra с 50MP се представяше срамно лошо спрямо S21 със 64MP. От друга страна, S23 Ultra снимаше по-добри снимки с двукратно увеличение от S24 Ultra. Но трябва да се отбележи, че и S23 Ultra снимаше зле в първите месеци и го оправиха по-късно.

    Xiaomi tends to oversharpen on the zoom to trick us.. Zoom: S24U / iPhone 15 PM (by a fairly margin) / X14U.. Overall best dynamic range: iPhone 15 PM (just look at the sky.. that's super important as I live in a sunny country and I won't lose any information on my shots).. You didn't show it here.. But I'd love to see a video comparison now between those 3.. I suspect Iphone 15 PM will win this.. On night shots the winner for me is VIVO X100 (lol) but it should take a while to take a shot maybe..

  • @doubledouble3454
    @doubledouble3454 8 месяцев назад

    On iPhone Just because night mode is getting enabled automatically in low light conditions doesn't mean you have to use it, just turn it off and it won't turn the night to day. Most of the time night mode is not needed on iPhone as it captures enough light already.

    Great video! thank you unbiased review. I currently in dilemma of picking of the three phones. My main priority is back cameras. If I had to rank phones by different metrics based on your video:
    Zoom quality (1 to 3): xiaomi, samsung, iphone
    Portrait quality : Samsung, iphone=xiaomi (only because iphone seemed a bit blurry on the night portrait)
    Night quality: Xiaomi, samsung, iphone
    Fom this, it seems to me to that my pick for now is likely a xiaomi. However, this would be my first xiaomi ever after a long usage of iphones. What do you think about the xiaomi in terms of performance after couple of years?
