So I’ve listened to most of your most recent songs, album, whatever you want to call it. Good job dude! I’m impressed! Lyrics are good, production is good. I just have a few notes of criticism: 1. Turn the volume of your vocals up quite a bit. There are many times that you can’t understand the lyrics due to them being so soft. 2. There were times when it felt bland. Layering backing vocals would definitely help as well. 3. (And this is the most important one) Be confident in your delivery! The best way to describe your vocal delivery is that it sounds like you’re singing in your parent’s basement trying not to wake them up haha. Give it some soul! People love artists who are passionate about their work! Like I said, production, lyricism is good. Lots of potential. I’m excited to see what’s next! I think what you’re lacking right now is confidence and soul in your music. Add a bit of that and you’re golden.
Just to clarify, this applies to the whole album, not just this song in particular. I think this song is a actually a good example of how to use backing vocals (even though it still needs some polishing)
