The wait is over! In the latest episode of ‘Guest in the Newsroom’, we are accompanied by Delhi-based rock band 'Indian Ocean'. Saurabh Dwivedi interviews Indian Ocean Band members Rahul Ram, Amit Kilam, Himanshu Joshi, and Nikhil Rao. Indian Ocean band is widely recognized as the pioneer of the fusion rock genre in India. Band members talk about their latest project 'Chakki', Pritam and perform their hits like Ma Rewa, Sarpat, and Hille Re. Watch the full interview to know more.

My Uncle plays the drums for Indian Ocean (Long haired Drummer) and every time ive heard him live as a lil tiny kid and all these small yet engaging fests its almost felt like watching a new band Emerge! Loved the passion and fervor they always play with!Indian Ocean as a band has evolved and stayed so fresh in the memory for so long cant even touch these legends! Diamonds !

I love this band. I got opportunity to enjoy it's live performance in IIT Kanpur "Antaragni" in 2006 or 07. Really soul touching band and talent. 👍🙏🙏

Been listening to Indian Ocean since 2001. Have sung couple of songs during my Live performances . Still keep listening to all their songs . My personal favourites- Khajuraho, Kandisa, Ma rewa, Bhor and so many. Miss Asheem Chakravarty. Brilliant singer and tabla artist.Love You guys. Keep rocking.

Beautiful interview. The only problem was that the mic of Rahul Ram was not working properly, I had to adjust the volume many a times - to extreme loud when Rahul Ram was speaking and to normal when others spoke...that kind of disturbed my viewing. I hope Lallantop Team will look into it and take care of this problem in the coming episodes. Best.

I am a Hallian. Burn Hall School is the most premiere school in Kashmir valley, mind you boys only. Bhai Sahab Burn Hall mei aag zaroor lagi, lekin uska naam iss liye Burn Hall nahi hai. Burn is a river in United Kingdom and the first MHM School (Mill Hill Missionaries) was in a hall over the river Burn. MHM Later founded the Burn Hall School in Srinagar. The Building the school is housed in is called The Willow, it surely is one of the best srchitectures in the valley. Moreso, its education and culture paired with multitudes of moral and personality development creates a brand of its own.
