Fun fact: Kuvira is played by Robin Williams's daughter, Zelda Williams. Kuvira's character also resembles her voice actress. Interestingly, Zelda's mother also has a beauty mark on her cheek similar to Kuvira's. Bryan Konietzko, one of the creators, incorporated the beauty mark into Kuvira's design so that people would notice her during her background appearances for Book Three.
Thankfully, seasons 3-4 were written at the same time so the transition is better whereas seasons 1 & 2 were written for one season. This gets so good. Can’t wait for the rest of this season 😄
I just realized something. Korra takes place 70 years later after the original series. She was 17 when she came to Republic City and 18 years old during season 2 and 3. Then the three year time skip happen and she's 21 years old now. So that mean it's been 73 years since then. Sozin's comet appears once every 100 years right so that means there's 27 years left before it returns. So Korra being 21 plus the 27 years later, means she will be 48 years old by then! Imagine how powerful she will be since her go to element is fire 🔥🔥
she could end up dying and the new avatar being an earth bender wouldnt actually be able totake advantage of this and the war again starts and again the avatar could be 10 or 11 like aang but this time a girl with earth abilities and she ends up being in aangs type of state suspended animation getting awoken 1000 years later this time and the world goes back to the way it was when aang was around because of 10 world war and fire nation literally rulling for 1000 years but this time even rava is back and darkness and the spirits are back and people starts using black magic which causes bender very useless and so yeah this could be a freaking mess and then she ask for aangs help. and the past life connection got restore due to the energy of the cosmos which she accesses before the suspended animation which actually is the reason why avatar state even activates.
You're right! She must be using the bandits to cause trouble until the small nations join her. She even used that metal bended thing to cover that woman's mouth when she was saying "we didn't know it was your train!" Devious.
You are right indeed that Korra Alone is a fantastic episode. One of the best in the whole series if you talk about her trauma, development and many more. You will love it indeed!
I don't think it's ever specified but my assumption when watching this episode the first time was the bandits having access to a plane implied they're backed by someone with significant resources and the intel about where the airbenders would be getting supplies. Combined with the earlier scene of getting bandits to pledge loyalty I always assumed Kuvira was getting bandits loyal to her to attack each region as "motivation" to join her and make her be seen as the hero.
In most shows they would use that trope. Have her manipulate the bandits to make the towns think they have no other choice. But this is a genuine bandit attack. Probably former Earth Kingdom Military or Dai Li agents. They would be the ones with the backing and the most experience against Airbenders.
At this point in the story, Korra has probably 70-80% physically recovered. Another issue she has is that her head just isn't in the game. She's going to need help from a couple of mentors before she's back to 100%.
Hi Melon Great Legend of Korra reaction Kuvira is an interesting character Boulin actually think Kuvira is doing good he doesn't see the moster underneath yet As for Korra yes she recovered physically but she still has trauma from before and her head is still not in the game yet
1st red flag: *forced* to pledge loyalty
2nd red flag: pledge loyalty to a *person*

Wut?
Her go to element would be Water. Or wind. Definitely not fire. Lol

@KeijiMaeda86 she favors Fire more,
@@KeijiMaeda86 her personality is that like a Firebender. And clearly you forgot she struggled to attain her Air element
@@kelonpie struggled? Lol after 1 episode she instantly mastered it. And she was born into water.
