The best explanation I have come across so far. 👍🏼
Thank you, this is very informative and goes a long way in helping me to potentially diagnose my own issue.
legendary explanation
Thank you
Thank-you very much! Your explanations and visual aides are always incredibly helpful.
Thank you Dr. Nabil for everything.
Thank you sir
I have see many videos. you are the only that knows about that. thanx man.
For the past 5 months I’ve been doing medial scapula exercises when the whole time I had a lateral scapula winging in so pissed rn I’ve waisted so much time, I’m glad I came across this on my recommended 😡😡
Hello, I’m dealing with the same thing did you fix it?
@@my7k169 no, turned out I had scoliosis and I didn't even realize bc it wasn't noticable till I got x rayed
Thank you so much for this detailed explanation. It's actually very helpful as someone who is hypermobile, has arterial TOS, cervical ribs and lateral scapular winging. This definitely explains the connection for me.
I'm guessing my cervical ribs on C7 probably make this a tricky one to treat before the removal of my cervical ribs?
I Need this Doctor to repair my severe condition! 3+ years of hell!
I have had a serratus problem due to plexus brachialis neuralgia. Back then i had medial winging. I also have neck issues and compressed nerves. Emg and MRI showed the issues. I now have a lateral winging. Nobody, neuro surgeon, physio, GP, seems to know the difference. I always get scandalised for asking a medical explanation so i know what to do to rehab. I do expect a shoulder specialist or a docter of physio to know these things.. No? Or they just say nothing because i am a lost case? Thank you so much for explaining. This is helpfull so i can finally try to adress it well. Meanwhile i have a tear in my supraspinatus because they adressed it wrong ... And i paid for this all, and i got yelled at..... imagine that..
I’d like to speak to you! I have an extreme case and it’s 3+ years.
My diagnosis started with broken neck spinal cord injury then stroke. Couldn’t use my left arm. I’m suffering! No one understands.
Now I understand why I have so much pain and one shoulder is a few inches higher. Thank you!
Anything helped ?
Thank you 🙏🌷🌻 for this excellent information 😊👍 Thank you 🙏 for your time and dedication and your knowledge Dr. Nabil you have a wonderful heart ❤️🙏 blessings for you and your family 🌷🌻🌼👍😊🙋

I have lateral winging that's bad
Thank you. Just what I needed
As usually great explanation
Thanks, I always get these two mixed up!!
Thanks very much sir. Your videos are very informative.
Which doctor we have to go
Is there a chance that scapular winging is not due to a lesion?
I have perfectly symmetrical medial scapular winging to both scapulae, that possibly was influenced by a very rapid growth of my (very heavy) breasts in early adolescence on to a slight and thin body frame, so the rhomboids’ function were pretty much annulled for years -until I was finally diagnosed with scapular winging in my early 40’s; after years of seeking relief from recurring upper trapeze contractures
My scapula fell down
Same mine also..

Awesome video. I have had this for over 6 years now. Has anyone had luck or know anyone who has overcame this by surgery?
You should probably see a physical therapist or sport focused doctor
@@rudygon426 I have tried man. I think my issue goes beyond PT
@@007studios8 Do you have damage to your long thoracic nerve? Did you have an emg from a neurologist for this?

СПАСИБА ВАМ БОЛЬШОЙ.
Very helpful I damaged vertebrae when a teenager then the long therasic nerve stopped functioning causing winging of scapula I'm now wondering if there is still an impingement as nerve has never recovered after many years, I now recently tore a tendon in my shoulder, obviously all likely to be connected but no physician joint the dots yet.
Hi, I have a wing scapula. It occurred 20 days ago after sports. Doctors said it was due to damage to the long thoracic nerve. Is your wing one-sided? Since when do you have wings? What process did you go through to recover? Have you had an emg done to detect damage to the thoracic nerve?
@@rainman07 yes it is just my right side.
@@rainman07I have on left! I’m in laid back position 2 plus years! My situation is pretty extreme. I had a broken neck C2 to C7 spinal cord injury things look very grim. I had a stroke. I have been in a bad position like this for five years now I have had MRIs. I have been to orthopedic surgeons. I have EMG’s. I am now being told. I need an implant to give me 24 months of relief or I will never have any relief. I feel very sad cry a lot, and I cannot do anything. I have no use of my left arm. I cannot bend. I cannot move. I am disabled. If you see my picture you would never believe that this is happening to meused to be OK I am no longer OK at all. It has made me depressed and sad.
Very good,
Thank you.
Thanks a lot
Thank you for the great sharing
I wrote a comment before, but it was deleted and I was going to delete it anyways. Cause I am not sure what happened to this scapula when I was taking injection in the deltoid itself, but my scapula got winging from osteopathy 5 years ago and I was getting better before this injection naturally as the scoliosis that was caused by this injury subsided as someone was helping me. So what to do I feel problem in my heart and chest and whole body . I already had a surgery also in my adductors years ago and I was finally getting better but things went worse after this injection in the deltoid. I believe the guy pulled the muscle, but I don't know why on earth he would do that and cause harm? What are your suggestions kindly please? I feel like I am going to suffocate
Hello! I was doing sports 20 days ago, everything was normal. 2 days later I woke up with terrible pain and I had a winged scapula on my right side. When I went to the doctors they said it was because the long thoracic nerve couldn't work the serratus muscle. The pain is gone but I have severe weakness in my right arm and the serratus anterior muscle is not working. Did you neurologist also have an emg? Do you have a nerve problem or is it just a muscle problem?
@@rainman07 please contact me shellthomas1968 I have an extreme case I was told i need an implant sprint.
I had broken neck
Spinal cord injury stroke list goes on! I’m in the most severe pain. I can’t even type this!!

Welcome
Sir i have lateral winged scapula and pinched nerve at cervical region
Im a bodybuilder . what should i need to do sir?
Hey I’m kinda confused on which type of scapular winging I have. Does lateral winged scapula cause you to have uneven lats. The side of my scapular winging cannot be targeted in exercises.
@@AYYYLMAOOOOO yes
@@prasurjya05 what have you done so far to try to fix it? I can’t find anything on the internet to fix lateral winged scapula. I’m thinking about going to see a physical therapist
@@AYYYLMAOOOOO first of all go and visit a orthopedic specialist. If sports ortho special then very good.
I’ve been working out with a winged scapula for a year now. I’ve gotten stronger but I still can’t stand doing pushing exercises like bench. Can’t bench at all. Only with dumbbells I’ve recently been able to push more. Still causes tons of shoulder pain from the winged scapula. But it seems my body has adapted and is tryna to compensate for it.
How many days to fixed
C8??
All neck related I had broken neck spinal cord injury and stroke.
No hope extreme pain laid back position 2 years!!
I can wing my scapula on command and have been able to my who life. Not sure why though.
👌💯

Maybe my case of shoulder is lateral. I fuck the debugging job I did 6 years ago.

In the coarse of a day it will go up and down thousands of times

Could this be a cause of this problem
I thought it was shoulder problem however after watching your video
Now not so sure
Can this injury be caused by my job
