If they incorporate WCW & ECW into the game, I just wish they would actually use every arena and ppv arena instead of just Halloween Havoc & Nitro
Yes in Universe mode I've said they need ways to make matches a number 1 contender match for whatever title or number 1 contender tournament in Universe Mode
I loved create a story not because I created stories but downloading all the cool stories creaters came up with and trying to complete because some of theme were really hard
My opinion: keep it the same other than combine GM and Univers , and get rid of my Faction, don't need other then that copy and paste and just keep adding to it like match types ,( SGR tag tem, ladder , ambulance ) more arena props with no restrictions or points on them , let use custom the chair colors in our arenas, more entrences with weapons and also vehicles such as Austin's 4 wheeler , Zamboni, Kurt's Milk truck and more.
They should add marks from being hit with kendle sticks.
They need add gm mode, create story to universal mode. Also add more features n bring back promos. Add multi storylines .
2k25 universe mode needs full stats like other sports . Wins losses records to make rankings mean something.

What needs to change for 2K25 for me in my opinion we got all these legends I grew up watching but we barely have any retro arenas for them to wrestle in
in 88' to 90' i went to many WWE local events. Not PPV but still seen all the wrestlers at the time. Was amazing to be able to watch Ultimate Warrior vs Rick Rude / Hogan vs Kamala in a steel cage etc....for like 20.00 for RINGSIDE seats. Long gone are those days :/

A new DX entrance (that isn't pointlessly hidden) is LONG overdue. Plus faction rivalries needs to be in universe mode.

@theprowrestlingshoot Your guess is as good as mine. I miss a good DX entrance so much I'm seriously considering buying an Xbox 360 so I can play WWE '13, which is permanently on my mount Rushmore of wrestling games.
I think WrestleMania 2000 on N64 or it was No Mercy but one of them had you pick which title you was going after and the story would change if you won or lost a match

Is it possible that they could be making a Universe mode in the background, and they've just been leaving the crappy one in until they swap it out. Remember that video that came out with Sammi Zayne, Kevin Owens, and the Bloodline, and there were all of those choices. Could that be what's being worked on possibly?

I heard you mentioned DOR; btw the gamecube games wrestlemaina 19, DOR1 & 2 are the only wrestling games where you can actually interrupt every single move no matter what it is and all they all have selling for when you break up a pin with a weapon. What's crazy is there's not been one smackdown game where you can interrupt literally every move. From the first smack down game release back in 99 to 2k24 it's not possible smh. For example in wwe 2k24 there are so many animations that can't be interrupted yet they advertise the game as sim.
You can't evern put your opponent on the announce table, climb a ladder and do a move off the ladder through the announce table like on older smackdown games from 15 plus years ago, no mercy, and other games. By now we should beable to have wrestlers come out and interfer in any match like how Kane came out and entered the hell in a cell match(undertaker vs mankind back in 98). There's no more chain wrestling, no can't climb the old titantrons like shane Mac, RVD,Jeff Hardy, New jack and other's have done, You can't go backstage during any match type, there's no 10 count for 2 wrestlers lying down in the ring, there's no arm raising for a wrestler put in a sleeper hold, there's no intergender matches which is stupid AF when there have been numerous real life intergender matches.
You can't stack tables, you can't place tables and ladders whereever you want, can't jump off the barricade, there's no more limb damage, you can't add custom music anymore like in 2k14, they force you to do a collar and elbow tie-up before every dame move and even irish whips which is stupid af. Who has ever done a collar and elbow tie-up before a move on the outside of the ring. There's no selling, the wrestlers get up too fast and you even get DQ'd for hitting a female wrestler but a female wrestler can just beat the hell out of a male wrestler and no DQ. That's never been a rule in wwf/wwe so stop making crappy restrictive rules up.
Chyna won the IC title, Ivory won the european title and mideon(ministry of darkness member) won the women's title but you can't do that in the game like you used to beable to back in the late 90s and early 2000s on wrestling games. Managers don't do shit on the outside when in real life managers often fight each other and or attack the opposing wrestler in the ring. Hell in a cell is too restricted, you have to play a stupid guessing game for reversals, there's no medical staff coming out during all matches from the back whenever a wrestler suffers an injury and if that was in the game, you should beable to attack the wrestler on the stretcher, there's no addition of more wcw arenas or ecw arenas, they constantly take out legends one year, bring others in and then the next year do the same.
Women wrestlers should beable to bleed, special guest ref should be an option for every single match type, there's no way to do number one contender's matches, they force you to have royal rumbles in one royal rumble arenas, they force you to have elimination chamber matches only during that stupid elimination chamber ppv arena. You should beable to take weapons from the crowd, attack announcers like some of the old wrestling games, squash matches are non-existent, the community creations slots are way too limited.
You can't hold onto a submission when a wrestler grabs a rope for a rope break(which they don't do anymore) and allow yourself to get disqualified, you can't leave a match by going to the back and forfieting. The weapons are way too limited and don't allow for enough blood. There's no thumbs tacks like in no mercy. They fighting stances are lame af. Their war games is trash and you can't have a wrestler interfer in that match either. There's no WCW or ECW match types. There's no rivalry options for triple threat, fatal-four way, 5-man, 6-man, etc etc. For example like the 6-man hell in a cell at armageddon 2000 and the fatal-four way match at wrestlemaina 2000. Also they don't allow managers for triple threat and fatal four-way. Also you can't even do proper tag-team moves through the table like much older smackdown games and other wrestling games.
There's way more I can add and as a long time wrestling fan since the mid 90s the current wrestling game is a disgrace to wrestling fans as there is no base gameplay. What I mean about a base gameplay is for example in a basketball video game there's always the ability to dunk, cross over, do flashy cross overs, flashy dunks and cross overs etc etc because it's apart of basketball so why isn't there a base gameplay for wrestling where everything about a wrestling program is in the game. Everything I listed above should always be in a wrestling game. Imagine if 2k took out the ability to do dunks and cross-overs in NBA 2k. So wrestlng fans should get that same level of respect. That creative director and or whoever makes the descions about what should be in the wrestling games needs to go because they obviously aren't and never were wrestling fans.

You guys were also speaking on live events; i've been three times but all back in the early 2000s. First one was august 2001 during the whole invasion beef. The main event was thr rock vs shane O'Mac in a street fight lol booker t came out at the end. shane elbow dropped the rock through the table. 2nd time Unforgiven 2002 and then my last live event was judgement day 2004.
Expand Universe mode to where its not as dry its been the same for the past 5yrs

Throw this out there WCW Back Stage Assault and thats why EA does not need to make a wrestling game. I know its about WWE 2k25 but that new wrestling game thats coming out that is doing the throw back to the old AKI games better than AEW looks so good
