I'm sure the devs figured out long ago what features gamers like and how to make the perfect wrestling game, but they'll never do it because they need to release a new game every year, so all the features will be added in batches to pass it off as innovation.

2K25 needs to be a modern day 2K19, with simulation elements and gameplay and extra content.

Yo the limitations of CAWs and Universe Mode really annoyed the hell outta me. But what takes the icing on the cake, is showcase mode. I hope they bring back Road to Wrestlemania or do eras like Golden, Attitude, Ruthless Aggression, and Modern. Lot of showcase matches, without transitioning to the real life match, and less objectives in the match. That 💩 was annoying, I couldn’t play it after The Rock vs Stone Cold X7!

What I hate about the 2K Games is the lack of freedom of creation. Yeah sure these games have great creation suite. But in earlier games you had the freedom of creating DX with full trons and music. Or I remember Evolution theme was in WWE '13. Like what does that theme have to do in the Attitude Era or WWE in the year 2012. Yeah nothing. Just so you have creative freedom. Why isnt it possible in the new games? Why you stupid bastard. I just don't get it let me create a new version of DX for my Universe. But no i have to stick to stupid DefRebel Songs and self created Trons. I hate it. I got 2k24 as a used copy from gamestop. Got bored 2 months in playing it. For 2k25 i will get it for christmas also a used copy. When all dlc is out. MyFaction is a fucking scam it makes me so angry. They put in resources in that mode but make everything restricted behind a paywall or evil grind. I hate you 2k.

I want them to bring back when u could add ur own music to the entrances. Everytime they put the British Bulldog in the game I always want to change his theme song to the attitude era heel theme when he wrestled in jeans in boots. Put all 3 members of Demolition and Road Warriors in the game and more wrestlers that haven't been in the game yet.

I’m done… I’m just done with 2k. Remember when 2k20 was an absolute dumpster fire and made them take a year off the game… here we are again with another dumpster fire that just pushes myfaction. Universe mode will never be what it could be. I’ve bought every wrestling game since smackdown released on PlayStation. I’m done I’ll just go pull out games before 2k took over and have fun again.

Until Yukes comes back or the dev team starts to actually care and realize that it’s possible to remove the unnecessary parts and add in the parts that we truly want, we will never get a good WWE 2k. The last WWE 2K game that was somewhat perfect was 2k19 & Yukes are the ones that developed it. 2k23 was my last WWE game & It’s truly heart breaking watching this go down under

My hopes for any future WWE game is that they bring back weapon physics/steel chair interactions/double-stacking tables. I also wish they would bring back create a finisher like in SvR 2011, but that to me feels like nothing more than a pipe dream at this point. Create a story, like you mentioned, would be great, but I don't have high hopes for it. 2K really seems to not give a shit about it's fans and just phones it in year after year because they know us fans will still buy their game no matter what.

You do not have to spend money for Myfaction cards. You just need to keep up with the timeline. If you keep up with the live events, and learn how to earn MFP fast with the badges, you can easily get all the persona cards. I have them all and never spent 1$ on VC. I love the grind and how they constantly keep updating the live events. It gives a reason to keep coming back and playing all year.

i always hated submission reactions when wrestlers were in holds.they barely move their body to sell it. Only way to have fun with wwe games is to play old ones as 2k has long way away

I really don't understand how it could be. The best game out there. When come on now, let's tell the truth. It's super glitchy. You can't play universe mode without your custom character. Entrance glitching, and you try to change any superstar costume and it won't even play their entrance song or tigertron. Now, tell me if that's worth $80. It's really not nobody's gonna sit there and play online. When people sit there and study the game inside and out like it's the last breath of their life. Like no, i'm not buying the new w.W e 2k25 and I'm going to give you a little reasons why because they told the public, they can't do nothing about universe mode. Glitching, it's so much creativity in universe mode that duck computer. You can't comprehend everything that's going on, so is automatically going to glitch. It is nothing they can do about it. And that tells me that I'm done buying every wrestling game. Did they ever come out with from here on out? Until they learn how to fix a game correctly and have it worked 110% and not 80%. Until then, I will not be buying no other wrestling game. Because guess what the future Wrestling game is going to be broken. Just like the new one, guess 2k24 so for the company to say, oh, this is the best wrestling. We ever came out with every wrestling game you came out with, wasn't good? You sold the public, a broken video game and you call that the best selling video game that you ever made w. Since 2k18 i bought every WWE game but I didn't buy 2k24 for some reason. It just never made me hyped about it enough for me to buy it. I would have liked to play the Mania showcase but spending 60 bucks on it was kinda too much for me and since they close the server already after 1 year and community creations will be dead once 2k25 drops I feel like waiting for its price to drop is useless too. I hope 2k25 adds enough for me to finally be interested again.

All I really want is WWE Story Designer back and it can make a comeback, but people have to make a lot of noise and demand it back. Look what happened with GM Mode back for years people demanded it and kept demanding it and 2k listened. We have to remind 2k that this is the game they work for Us and we pay them when we purchase the game and essentially in someways we are their bosses.

I don't have any high hopes for 2k25, 2k needs to study the crap out of thq's wwe games, because at this point Thq has done it better by far.

I hope they finally stop putting features away and sell it to us as something new in 2 or 3 years time.... (like Special Guest Referee) / i mean if it is with something like the Universe Mode it is okay because it definitely needs an overhaul. They need to make injuries easier to pull off

Putting it bluntly, they need to forget about last gen consoles and move on solely to current gen. The last gen restrictions are starting to take their toll on the games progression in my opinion. Graphics, gameplay and just general functions need that new gen feel now

I figured out the issue. WWE 2k24 is one of my all time favorite wrestling games now, but that's because of my own effort. I've messed with sliders, adjusted settings, created my own arenas. BUT THE BIGGEST ISSUE with base game feeling stale is that none of the wrestlers feel like themselves. Everyone for the most part has the same basic "standing elbow drop" move-set. In my game (after also playing with their stats), Randy Orton vs John Cena doesn't feel like two video game characters robotically jogging around a ring. It FEELS like Randy Orton vs. John Cena.

I get it for story mode and creation, piece of advice make use of Spotify connection, bring back creative a finisher and create a story, but with a twist create a story ideas can be used as storylines in WWE Universe Mode, and create a finisher has 5 options rather than 3 corner grapple, regular grapple, diving, rope grapple, and submission.

Do a WWE game revolving around a deep dive into an Era. Take WWE '13 for example, the game was essentially a deep dive into the Attitide Era. Everyone loved it. You can't keep trying to do "Modern Day, featuring legends" as the theme.. Like it or not this is the least popular and least watched Era in WWE history. It has been losing popularity since 2006.... Do a proper WCW game. Not just a small DLC with like 3 of the 5 stars being WWE characters. Do a legitimate WCW deep dive game that doesn't insult the fans. Hell add ECW in as well. Do a crossover with TNA. Something that fans actually want to see. This year's game was about replacing Roman Reigns without ever beating him... This game was lazy and stupid. Every game since 2019 has been the same.

I’m glad you touched on weapon physics first and even went back to it. Nobody else who makes WWE 2K content ever talks about it and it makes me feel like I’m the only one who cares about weapon mechanics. Do people not remember how much fun that was and how much that added to a match from SVR 11 - WWE 2K14

MyFaction SUCKS

I bought the wrestlemania edition and feel as if I was robbed. I’ll be skipping next year. This game sponsored WM 40 and is still a broken mess. If they could make MyFaction as the only game mode without backlash, they would.

Every game nowadays want to have the “purchaseable” mode. Tired of it. Story designer would be incredible.
