I've had the Valley Games version of Republic Of Rome for awhile. Read the rulebook, but could tell it would take awhile to absorb it all in play. Damn interesting, however.
I've managed to get it to the table twice, first time was a bit challenging, some of the players weren't overly invested. Second time proved a hit with a different group. This game needs players to be in the right headspace. The fact you can lose your faction members so easily can really put players off
I'm pretty excited to get Pax Viking out as well
