As always with the international cases. I apologize if I messed up any names or places! Such a bizarre case overall and the irony of the name is definitely not lost on me!
Seriously, Yves claimed they faked his death, got plastic surgery and murdered a man to open a school for abused children? What? That’s literally unbelievable.
I would think this is a plan you'd concoct after a night of heavy drug use only to wake up the next day realizing how stupid it was. Apparently, they never went to sleep that night.
Is there anyone here believes a FRACTION of Yves excuse of faking his own death, by brutally and senseless killing Mr. Hipeau, to open a HOME for troubles children!!!!! I want some of what Yves was smoking….. It’s such a disgrace and utter disgrace that Yves was only sentenced for 20 years for killing Mr. Hipeau. 🤬🤬
Yves so-called altruistic justifications for his crimes has the same energy as slipping on a banana peel and getting someone pregnant, ya know, for science!
Greed does it once again!😕 So many times you hear about life insurance in such cases. Greed is a very self destructive emotion. I get a "Double Indemnity" feeling from this case. (Love that film🤷🏻♀️)
Personally, I think the plot was motivated entirely by greed. I can't believe the ridiculously short jail sentence they got, too. They killed a person and literally used him as a prop in a scheme to get money. RIP Mr Joel Hipeau
Your pronunciation of everything was incredible. I would have massicured it. The French language is a hard one to learn as i have a friend who speaks French. I told her I'd love to learn French and she told me it's a hard one to learn. I think you did excellent. I've always admired you for being able to do that. I love listening to you, your voice is so soothing and relaxing.
Aww you are so kind! I took the French and middle and high school and a little bit in college but with nobody to practice it aside, I have not kept up on my studying! And thank you for the compliment about my voice because after teaching all day sometimes I think it sounds so rough!
@@AlexandriaTucker your voice is anything but rough!! I always turn my volume up loud because I love the sound of it so much. And you can't tell at all that your French was set aside. You sound like it's a language meant for you as is your Spanish. It sounds so natural, you have nothing to worry about Alexandria, your wonderful.
This case was absolutely bananas, what a wild ride, I’d like to think he was already brain dead before the fire, so at least he didn’t know what was happening,😞, great case to cover, never heard of this , a big, thank you to you guys👍🏻👍🏻✌🏻💕
We keep hearing RUclips is suppressing our videos and it makes me so sad :( thank you for watching and for finding our new content! A new video should come out tomorrow!
Amazing case coverage as always! It blows my mind the maniacal mind of this man, it's something straight out of a film noir. Also, I'm a long time listener, and I have to say the random musical cues and sound effects are extremely out of place, jarring, and distracting. I understand the need to try new things to keep it fresh but it detracts, in my opinion. Your voice and the usual music is more than enough.
I like to complain about the sentencing. Because anything less than a life sentence for first degree murder is not justice and I am always shocked by the leniency of so many Courts.
I just don't understand how the prospect of attaining money is worth killing someone, whether a loved one or stranger-- heck, even an enemy! And they spent all that time with their victim... they're evil people, man.
Exactly, the comment that shows before ticking the comment section says it's good the insurance company looked into it, otherwise they would have gotten away with it. Even with a pinned comment, the 1st comment is what's going to show.
@@rollinburket this is a 5 speed gear shift. So yes is the answer lol you have to shift gears or if you don't want to learn, because it's not necessary, but still very useful to know how to shift gears. But you can always get an automatic. Are you not old enough to drive yet?
Why did you insert a stock clip of a hand banging on a door? Do you think we can't visualize a door being knocked on? It's cringey and too many edits/cuts are distracting. Also, Cannes is pronounced "can" not "cons".
Unfortunately, our hands feel tied at this point, because you to post continuously suppressed and demonetized are videos and it’s for really silly things like what you just mentioned even the word sexual assault gets flagged and suppresses the information being shared in the algorithm.

Poor Joel. Respect to his memory.
You could right a film script out of this its so unbelievable
You should watch documentary about it... very good and unbelievable and crazy story.. they have multiples crazies crimes stories in France
@@Sappy10 what's the name of the documentary?
Great script and narration!!!
I renew my request to have more "live and in person" videos like that one about a year ago. :)
I should do another of those- that was fun!! Maybe I could talk about one of my classic favorite cases.
Amazing work! I like the new editing style
Thank you!
Thank you guys🙏💔🪽
Hey Laura! Hope you are having a wonderful day!
I followed you under MERCdocs and I'm loving the update.
Thank you so so much! We really appreciate that.
I love your voice so much. Did you say in a past video that you're a teacher?
Yes! She is a teacher
I'm supposed to be getting ready for work, but this is too interesting... Oh well, gonna be late!
Love the video! ❤

Never heard about this one before! You folks are SO GOOD.

That was one crazy story
Love the video.
Not exactly criminal masterminds
Gotta love France. Did the partner and mistress identify the body together? Apparently, they were all involved, including the mistress's husband! 😂
The wife probably didnt know at the time
When this started I wondered if it was really Yves. Identified by underwear? And who did they kill? Cold, very cold.

Same, I feel so much guilt just from hella awkward interactions so I just cannot fathom committing a crime lol. I would just never ever ever sleep.
It's lame when the only visible comment gives away the turning point of the story. 😢
