    The store managers of all the supermarkets should themselves or a staff member go out once a week and litter pick because most of them are disgusting. People just seem to use anything and everything as a bin and not actually use a proper bin. Another great job well done 👏👍

      There is this one person who goes around the car park, clearly not that great of a job though!

    People will just dump their trash anywhere. That shoe was hilarious. Looked like a nice shoe. You've become a maestro at getting trash through the fence. Especially bottles.

    Another job well done. Its a shame that Lidl dont get out and clean up their own mess Maybe they will when they see this video.

    A story about grocery near me called Stew Leonard's. In the nut dept, you scoop as many pistachios as you want into a plastic bag, and they're weighed when you check out your groceries. In the grassy areas of the parking lot, there's no litter, but there are pistachio nutshells. Could be worse, as they break down.

    That's just disgusting and unfortunately it's not just Lidl it's all the big stores who seems to only care about the internal aspects of the store not the surrounding land which is still the responsibility of the store managers.
    What would it take to send a member of staff out for 30 minutes if that to keep on top of it.
    Thank you Chilli 😊

    Lidl are known for multi tasking staff and I guess they don’t have time to be picking up other peoples litter. Lidl have taken the trouble to include nice green shrubberies only for them to be treated as litter bins. Why can’t they take their litter home !! Again a few CCTV cameras around would help. They must have CCTV in store which probably extends to the car parks. In the meantime Chilli, great job as usual 🥇

    I also pick up litter from time to time.
    For the life of me here in Thailand I am unable to find those bin hoops and normally the Chinese copy everything but alas no success with the bin hoop so far.
    Good work.

    Cat in the Hat had a vehicle with a vacuum hose and now I see one at Walmart that needs no driver, but only does floors. Perhaps the City Council could buy one with a vacuum hose for you to operate?

    They should do away with those green areas in front of supermarkets they are not maintained so it’s pointless having them there just an eyesore.

    Just curious… does the UK have a rebate system on cans and bottles? Here in the Netherlands there has been a visible change in my weekly routes after installing rebate on cans.

    • @danh9503
      @danh9503 9 месяцев назад +3

      Here in the UK you'd need shitloads of cans to make decent money scrapping them in per Kilo...Not worth the effort for most people to be honest

      @@danh9503 In Sweden it is worth it. The deposit on cans and small PET bottles is 1 swedish crown and on large PET bottles 2 swedish crowns. In order for you to get back the deposit on your can or bottle, it is required that it is part of the Swedish deposit system.
