Straight outta MN, this is the same concept that helps burn the perfect joint. tried the wick on a typical western type candle and it worked stupendously, thank you. used medical cotton and a pen to keep the gap in the middle in place of the broom.

Useful video mam....in my home we had some cotton plants and had already used the cotton for making wicks. So I thought it's a normal video but watched as I was sure I will get something from it. As I expected it was a value added video for me , for each and every minute thing you have perfect way of doing. Learning a lot from you Uma. Do more videos...
It is called as grass broom or anchi katti broom in kannada. We also call this as hoova parke. You should be able to find it in the any of the market area.
I am facing an issue... Whenever we light a diya.. The flame runs along the wick towards the oil and ultimately burns inside... Looks like a mini yagya kund... Shouldn't the flame go off once the oil is over...? Any tips for this issue?
This is very clever and helpful! I love the stick idea! Thank you so much for making this video and sharing it with us. 🙏
