Listen, the Spanish love deception was so boring I actually wanted to tear my eyes out! It literally was not it😅😅 however, a book by the same author called The American Roomate Experiment was the opposite and absolutely amazing!! Not to mention, very sexy!
Omg yes I’m so glad it’s not just me the hype for Spanish Love Deception is insane!!😂 Also thank you so much for saying this, I didn’t hate her writing style so hadn’t written off all of her books but I doubt I would have thought to pick anything up by her. I’ll definitely need to checkout The Roommate Experiment and give that a try, hopefully I enjoy that one better!❤️
Good girls guide to murder series is the freakin’ best read it in this order: kill joy, a good girls guide to murder, good girl bad blood and then as good as dead. I bought them all and read them in 4 days only reason I took so long is I had to order the books lol 😂
I have a good girls guide to murder on my shelves but just haven’t had the motivation to read it. I’ll definitely pick it up now but will need to get kill joy to read first. Thanks for the rec!❤️
I actually think it was more fun reading a good girls guide to murder BEFORE Kill Joy, since it’s a prequel. I know you don’t necessarily need to but it was more fun since you can get little references mentioned from agggtm😅

I’m so happy you enjoyed it I really wanted to. I went in with high expectations because of the hype and it was a let down for me sadly. I have been told that the books get better though so I’m considering trying the second one❤️
So true the silent patient is overrated. it definitely doesn't live up to the hype, just everything depend upon the plot twist but even then it wasn't that good.😅
OMG YES! And everyone who was recommending it was saying “the twist is crazy” and “you won’t believe the twist” which gave away that there was an insane twist and I ended up guessing it which ruined that part of the book for me! Don’t get me wrong it’s a good book but it’s not like insanely amazing and going in expecting 5 stars and coming out with 3 just feels like such a let down!💔
I hated the silent patient tooo it was boring and predictable. There’s too much information spoiler and we really didn’t need the cheating partner thing (all that did for me was give me extreme secondhand embarrassment) like it could be summed up in 30 words and it’s just like a 300 page book.
I didn’t hate it I just thought it was okay but the hype this book got meant I was expecting the best thriller ever and it was meh so I was disappointed af! I actually completely forgot about that part of the book!!!!

Ugh yes I know right. Everyone talking about the “crazy twist you won’t believe” meant I ended up guessing it which takes away most of what makes the book good😂😭
I’ve heard a very mixed bag for this but it’s been recommended to me by quite a few people who say it’s amazing. I love hearing different opinions on books🫶
