MUCH more interesting than the endless line of luxury, fast cars. This is an ACTUALLY affordable car, a car for ordinary people, who don't make lots of money, who don't want to spend their entire income on just getting around.
I don't understand market for these, if you are on a budget and want a simmilar car you get a used honda jazz (fit), with great fuel economy and reliability, or you get this EV? This is not for people who don't make money, this is for first time drivers to get around the city most likely
I was lucky enough to test drive it and see it live at the Oslo Motorshow. Oh, I'd say affordable electric cars are finally coming. Hopefully there will be more in the same price range very soon. That is what is needed for more people to choose an electric car.
Having had the chance to sit in the Dongfeng Box recently, I was amazed that me being 193 cm I could comfortably sit behind myself (which I could neither in the Citroën ë-C3, nor in the Kia EV3). For 26 500 €, we are getting a car with the cabin space of an Enyaq, heated and ventilated driver's seat, 360° camera, an appealing indoor trim, ambient lighting, and front folding seats if you ever want to use it for camping. This car is amazing value for what it offers.
Looks good. For daily usage it would be enough "car" for me. Driving to work, some grocery shopping on the way home and stuff like that. And cheaper than Ora Funky Cat? But still waiting for Skoda Epiq :)
Have you heard of the Leapmotor C10? Over here in The Netherlands it is for sale right now and while it's not as cheap as the Dongfeng Nammi Box, it is about €39k so it operates around Kia EV3 level. Leapmotor is backed/sold by Stellantis but is actually a Chinese brand. I'm curious to see what you think of it. To me it gives a bit of BYD vibes, pretty decent at the minimum.
c10 is good, really good for the price. for bigger one they'll release c16 (3 rows).

Take. My. Money. This car second-had would be _perfect_ as a second car. This is what the market needs. I am a bit worried after reading about the MG-4 and its seeming inability to clear fog during winter. I doubt these cars are very well winter-tested, but heres to hoping! Btw I love manual tailgates! :)
Nice overview. I think the price is still rich man price. I think 100000-120000 Nok max is best price for this EV. Front side looks a bit like Smart #1. I agree frunk could be easily done for cheap.
Dongfeng also makes the dacia spring and this looks like its slightly older brother... a lot of the materials look the same... but much better interior space

Affordable car, that reduces dept slavery, I would not mind Indian makes too.

This actually looks quite nice for the price, I'm impressed.
The 2 pipes in the engine bay are for refilling the AC, like in any car
This deserves a TWO THOUSAND kilometer challenge!
Interior looks nice for an inexpensive car

What your impression about the car after driving it?

A few people have posted reviews here in Germany and the C10 seems a really decent car.
Imo the small Leapmotor T03 is even more interesting... Car Maniac has reviewed it.

Perfect second car or for someone who’s just past their driving test!
"no haptic shit" works for me!
That's a nice colour.
If priced competitively this would sell very well in the UK.
we are assembling it in Nigeria already
Really? Will be interesting if this fixes the EU import tariffs
@powwowowo well...good luck to europe producing a brand new EV for less than 25k USD
Really nice car 👍 But if I tell people that I have bought a Nammi Box my street credit will definitely take a hit 😅

And a bigger batterie and much more tech Features.
Could the 86% battery on top right of the main screen actually be the battery level of a paired phone? I think so.
the next polo from china! congrats "volkswagen"!
Could you test the BMW i4 m50 again after the last update?
Definitely 1kkm in that
