A lot of you are mentioning the fact that my lyrics are somehow "incorrect" because monsters don't have what I mentioned as "blood". This is the general gist of comments, more or less.
News flash: If you hadn't realized, Frisk is human. What do us humans do when we can't comprehend something per se? We relate it to things we can understand.
We really never know (or I was never made aware of) the technical extent of Frisks time in the underground, so you can't say they were obviously taught everything they needed to know and UNDERSTOOD all of it.
Dust of the fallen monsters- to Frisk, in my mind- appears as blood. I mean, what else could it be to a little kid who has no idea what crazy (under)world this is?
I end my rant.

Yes, yes. I know. Maybe too much Undertale, but this too shall pass... Maybe... Eventually... XD Right now, I'm just really into using my energy in this phenomenal story they call a computer game.
I got to thinking, "What can I add to this community that's not already there?", and through much consideration, I've found that I'm pretty sure there are no songs for how Frisk feels after battle (put to the tune of a much more melancholic Megalovania) ☜（ﾟ∀ﾟ☜）LOOK AT THAT OUTSTANDING ALLITERATION. Edit: It's the glitch effect at the beginning, it looks so intentional that I didn't even notice it at first.
I still look back at this video every day since it came out haha. Still just as enjoyable. Personally I find the glitches make the experience better.

I noticed sans has an eye that's light blue for patience.This trait can be seen as as he says "you'd be dead where you stand"and the promise.He was patient with you on genocide too.When you killed Toriel and passed by Sans he doesn't try to kill you,he waits for your next move.He also has yellow for justice.When you go on the geno route sans fights you and is trying to justify you and the action's that you've done.

actually its orange for bravery, think about it. Sans is going agesnt a mass murderer of the underground. Most living creatures (besides normal plants, flowey made it impossible to say the word "plants" without excluding him.) would avoid and take severe caution whenever they step somewhere they feel is dangerous. That's Bravery for standing up to Player/You

Welp, here comes my judgeful side. *ahem*
The lyrics fit the Melancholic Megalovania very well. It really sounds like Frisk. I'm glad that it's really in character. The voice of the singer really sounded like she meant all the lyrics, like she was sad after all. Most of all, the word's in the lyrics fit so well it sounds like the real one except for the different lyrics. All in all, this was great.

*After reading description* I get that Frisk was relating the dust to blood, but still it doesn't make sense that they describe their hands as stained red if they are stained white/grey unless they were delusional or colourblind. Unless they are being metaphorical?
However, the song is definitely more flexible with the 'blood' term as it could be applied to other situations than just Undertale and might inspire some other people to create stories where this song might be applicable that has nothing to do with Undertale. Blood and red are also much more powerful than dust and white/grey to us human beings, making this song more powerful in its feeling of tragedy.
Personally, that's why I believe Sans 'bleeds' red (ketchup) if you kill him in the final Genocidal battle - it's more visuallypowerful and relatable to use players, making us really realise that we've hurt him because we all know that blood equals hurt. That point, directly after killing Sans, is the last time you can reset and be able to do the True Pacifist route too.
My old neighbor was in the Vietnam war and would often tell me stories of what led him to how he was currently. I was little, so most of it was "censored" until I got older, when he deemed me mature enough to handle the gruesome stories that were his reality.
The worst story I remember was after my dad, his brother and his friends were shooting old Monster drink cans in the backyard. Our old neighbor came around after the shooting and asked what was up. After an explanation, he proceeded to laugh and say as soon as he heard the gunshots, he hit the floor, assuming he was under fire- a reflex of war veterans.
Later, when I got older, he would tell me the nightmares of blood on his hands and the hallucinations he would have after he woke up screaming. It was a warning to me and my brothers not to take so lightly the idea of joining the ranks of the US military.
But to this day, I remember that story.
That being said, often sufferers of PTSD have hallucinations from the guilt of murder and/or blood on their hands. Relating this to Frisk who is alike to most military members who in effect is not to blame for the situations they were put in, being controlled by a higher power and whatnot, I gave Frisk PTSD. Therefore, the blood is a hallucination that they relate to dust. They can't comprehend what the dust is in any other way than blood, and the brain goes off of that, creating a horrific image for our poor character.
Of course, metaphorical can always be an explanation, but I went with a probably darker meaning. *WHOOPS*
I agree with the Sans theory. Often, red invokes more feeling then a bland grey, but that can equally be powerful; you are slowly leeching the color out of everything you touch.
So glad to know someone is reaching deeper than just the surface! Thanks for taking your time, and despite the lyrics that may be confusing at first, I hope they were still only a minor setback to the enjoyment of the full piece. ^.^

Btw, I love how you really did truthfully Frisk version. They aren't the psychopath, or even controlled by Chara. Here, that's the little kid who fell into the Underground without really understanding what was happening and who was just scared. They felt the influence of the player on them and trusted them without questionning because they didn't know any better.
At the end, they felt that they were wrong but slowly get that they aren't the one in control of their action and they never were.
I think they quite understood what was going on when Flowey and Chara speaked directly to the entity that was controlling them...

UM...FRISK IS YOU DUDE...Tobyfox has said this many times. Fact is during the genocide route you ARE being manipulated by Chaara. Failing the Genocide route is also symbolized by Frisk RESISTING Charas manipulation...thus the RESET before its too late. Toby said something along those lines when someone asked about a "True ending" in which he replied Frisk would resist Chaara resulting in his defeat by Sans AND a reset which leads to the Asriel ending what we call Pacifist ending. There is a reason you turn more and more into Chaara as you go through the Genocide route lmfao. Its painful people cannot comprehend this.

Several animations have actually changed stories to accommodate this whole "Chara is suddenly a fucking angel" thing, and it's driving me nuts. Literally no one challenged this before these theories became a thing, Chara was always evil, it was always "Yin and Yang/Frisk and Chara/Good and Evil", but after that damn theory, it's all turned to "Good and Good, only the player is evil, fact".
I wouldn't be surprised if Toby Fox was smacking himself in the face right now. Even if the theory turned out to be correct, he'd still be annoyed, this is the guy who said he'll never include secrets in his games again if people spread them around, after all.

I've seen a lot of Frisk Melovania lyrics covers... but this one... This one's probably my favorite. I think you hit on the regret and the lyrics just flowed perfectly with the beat. The only little bit I wondered about was about blood.... tempting to use dust in the lyrics instead of blood.... but at the same time when you think about it, in Frisk's self conscious state they'd probably still consider dust blood.
Also... the way your voice cracked/got quiet in JUST the right spots. Just.... wow. Really feels like Frisk is singing it.
Yeah, that's what I thought too, buuuuuut... What I realized is that Frisk is human and only recently fell, although we aren't told how much time passes while they're down there. So I figured that unless they somehow managed to find tomes from old scientific monster research, they don't really know how to relate the dust to anything other than our way of "bleeding out" from a mortal wound.

I have a theory on why Chara kills you at the end of your geo route: They remember that the Monsters were nice to them when the monsters hated humans for trapping them in the underground and for killing Asirel. They think that they didn't have to die for whatever reason "Frisk" was thinking (I DO know that it's our fault, not Frisk's) So they decided to say "Since when were you the one in control" as to make you remember something: *Not all of the monsters are your enemy.* And that's why they kill you so you could learn your lesson.

id say megalovania is sans theme. the original to me, is loud and fast. its anger and revenge. its feelings of hatred over multiple timelines. sans miight be melancholic, and he might seem himself. but hes beyond angry hes furious at frisk.
liam green imo, i think sans just entirely gave up. theres nothing to look forward to anymore. everything he does, all his work, is for nothing. because one day it will all reset. itll all be over. itll all repeat.
hes tired of life. but he still wants to stand in your way, because theres still a little hope left that youll reset. he wants to rage quit you into giving up. he wants it all to end.
so, i think megalovania is frisk/charas theme.
